Monday

Well we had a family supper celebrate for the mothers in our family. Once again the house was filled with the smell's of good food and the endless chatter that is associated with a get together. We started the day getting ready for our weekly gathering at Element Church in Tampa. There were a few new faces as they gathered with family members to celebrate their moms. Several of the young ladies had platters of finger food for the mom's who attended and it was a nice crowd. It also was baby dedication Sunday and 4 babies were brought forth and we the congregation vowed to be role models as well as be helpful in their walk towards and with GOD. It also was Bobby's last Sunday as the lead pastor as he has decided that stepping down would be best for the church due the difficulties in his marriage. We are saddened it has come to that but he will still attend the church and lead worship from time to time but no longer be the lead pastor. I must say it was a tearful moment for most of the crowd as well as our house church gang. Bobby has taken another job not associated with pastoral duties in Tampa and this will also help with the church's financial situation so he will no longer be on staff and draw a salary.

We dropped Dan and Carol off as we drove this Sunday and then headed home to get ready for the evening gang. I made a guacamole for the snack and before we settled into brats, dogs, sautéed onions and peppers, German potato salad and toss salad. For dessert we had 7-up pound cake with vanilla custard and whipped cream. Wow what a feed and so delicious. We watched the Ray's lose again at home and some of our friends were at the game celebrating with their mother. It was a tough week-end; the passing of our great Uncle Warnie at 93, the stepping down of Bobby as the pastor from the church he helped plant, the difficulties in his marriage and the no show of our grand kids from that side of the family because of those difficulties.

It was a little subdued at the house because Annsely and Gabe stayed with their mother in Riverview. We hope that doesn't become the norm. Phoenix who is Ava's age came from across the street and helped to entertain the kiddo's. Their whole family was in attendance at Element this morning as well. Well it was after 9 when most everyone headed out except for Bobby who left a little earlier as he starts a new job this morning(Monday). He had to pick up some clothing at his house before heading out to wherever he is temporarily staying. Keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

I have somewhere picked up a bug or have some allergies as my throat was sore on Thursday and now I have some congestion in my voice. I don't feel sick but sound terrible, LATER
