Well Saturday was another beautiful day with great temps for when the Ross Family arrived around 2'ish after a 4 AM start from Seminole, Florida. They made great time on their trip and got here a couple hours before we anticipated their arrival and from then on it was activity around the cabin with Rocky leading the charge. He did settled down for the night after running up and down the hills and peeing on everything in site around the property.
I started the day with my usual before 6 rollout to my routines that begin with some quiet moments to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem to be holding with this post. Steve wrote me note and wanted to hike so I headed down the driveway and met him at his place and we did the long hike to the top of the mountain. It was nice and cool to start the morning with temps in the low 60's.
I was busy getting the garden protected from when Rocky made his rounds and then did some other chores as we made our last minute duties as we got ready for the Ross Family. Nancy was busy in the kitchen baking a pie and making a salad as well many small chores before they arrived. I grilled rib eye steaks for our supper along with corn on the cob, oven tatters an apple pie with ice cream for dessert. We did teach Amy and Tyler hand, knee and foot and did one round before supper with guys beating the gals. Afterwards we all played some bad mitton until dark and then it was show time. That was about it for the day, LATER
