Sunday Morning Nov 10th

Well Saturday was another rather warm day with temps up into the 80's once again and I'm still doctoring both the hide removal from the dermatologist and this muscle strain or tear which was doing rather good throughout the day, but after driving that mustang to Brandon and back last evening I'm worst than ever. I was in excruciating pain and discomfort last night and did not sleep much at all. Now it seems the sciatica is on fire and causing me tremendous discomfort, so I'll be out of action for awhile and especially until I get my truck back. No more riding in that mustang which is a killer to look at but a killer on a bad back, oh well.

I had started the day with my usual routines that begin after a before 6 rollout for some quiet times to honor my lord, Jesus and to lift up several by name. All seem to be holding and I would certainly appreciate some divine intervention for me and my issues. I didn't do much except head out to hand water the gardens during the morning and then son in law Tyler came and helped with mowing and weed eating the yards. What a big blessing that was. I rested and tried some new techniques on the lower back and had it feeling rather well, although I wasn't ready for big time exercise, but the back felt like it was getting better. The ride last evening and especially last night coming home ruined it all and put me in misery all night long, oh well.

We will skip church this morning as we were scheduled to be greeters at the front door and for a VA luncheon afterwards and then on Monday we were attending the service at Bay Pines VA Center where our two grands were singing. I just can not get back in that mustang as its so uncomfortable and just the thought of the pain it brought to my lower back is out of the question. I'm not sure if I can return the vehicle once my truck is fixed as its a 30 minute ride to the dealer. Nancy may have to return it in my place when the time comes or someone from the dealer can deliver my truck and return the mustang, LATER
