Monday Morning June 3rd

Well Sunday started out on the chilly side once again so we ha the fireplace on which takes out the chill in the cabin and then again last evening as the over cast skies were mainly present during the day. We got maybe 50 rain drops in the afternoon but that was it, despite the look of rain clouds in the area. It was a much better day for Nancy as well, as she stayed away from the BP cuff which gives are anxiety. She will contact her new doctor today to see about changing her medicines so she can regulate her BP.

I started the day with my well before 6 rollout to my morning routines that begin with some quiet times to honor my lord, Jesus, give thanks for another day and to lift several up by name for comfort and healing. All are holding with this post. We headed out around 9:30 for Cornerstone in Sparta and heard a good message from our local pastor whom we have known for over 25 years. There aren't many original members like us who started out in a school cafeteria and progressed to this facility, but pastor B is the real deal and still is in the business of preaching GOD's Word and there were many folks in attendance. It was great to be made and feel so welcome once again.

We decided to skip eating out as we want to try and drop a little weight we have accumulated especially around our tummy's which is another cause for high BP. We made a stop at Caleb's place on the way home and picked up a sack of fresh caught trout, already gutted and beheaded. I tried filleting them but I lost so much meat that I decided to prepared about half with the back bone in like I did when I was a kid. Nothing like the taste of fresh caught trout. There was a feller at the trout farm who could filet them and not lose any meat but I forgot how he did it. Anyhow many thanks to young Caleb for the treat.

We sat around and did some social media and then listened to our pastor at SRBC  give his sermon on You Tube then we got into a game of hand, knee and foot. Nancy was the big winner this time and now leads 4 to 3 in scores. We had leftover deer burgers for supper for lunch which held me the rest of the day except for some almonds and glass of vino around 5'ish. We took a walk around the property inspecting the flower beds and gardens and I did a little hoeing of the plants. The ground is still full with moisture from all the rain last week and the recently transplanted seedlings in 4 packs are looking good. I have more lettuces to transplant today into 4 packs.

Well we got into the WCWC (women's college world championship) fast pitch softball games on ESPN and watched two good games before calling it a night around 10:30 after a hot shower, LATER
