Well this month is just about gone and we have been here just a little over a month, where has that time gone. Tuesday was rather chilly to start the day with temps in the 50's and it stayed rather pleasant all day long. I think it may have reached the middle 70's by late afternoon. I worked outside most all day except for a nice visit with Shirley Heglar during the afternoon. We did take a long golf cart ride to the mailbox and then after supper to the top of the mountain. We saw no one out and about.
I started the day with a before 6 roll out as usual to my routines that start with some quiet time to honor my LORD and to give thanks and lift up several by name. All seem as well as can be expected and then I finished that quiet time with a rather out loud talk with Him on my solo hike. What a beautiful cool morning and the fresh air was awesome. Well the deer love these nights of foraging especially in my garden and flower beds. I had to put back up a fence around the black raspberries patch as they have just about ruined them by eating all of the new growth. We had to hang pie pans around the back yard as well hoping that will help keep them away. I also sprayed some insect poison around some of the flowers in hopes that will discourage them as well from eating all of the new blooms, oh well I'm having deer burgers for supper again so I guess we are even.
Not much to report except we need rain as we are watering daily. My tomato's are starting to set fruit as are the bell pepper plant and the squash and cucumbers. Lot of the seedlings are maturing enough to set in the garden proper. We have been staying outside until 9'ish and then hitting the showers and I watched a little of the Ray's game which had the manager losing the game again with pitching changes, oh well, LATER
