Tuesday Morning June 21st

Well believe it or not Nancy had the faux fireplace on for most of the day. It was chilly but not that cold to my way of thinking especially after being in the 90's just a couple days ago and its supposed to get in the upper 80's the rest of this week. We need rain desperately as I'm hand watering the gardens daily.

I started the day with a before 6'ish rollout to my quiet time to honor my Lord, giving thanks and lifting several up by name. All seem well. I headed out on my solo hike to the top of the mountain but never got in a second hike as Nancy is nursing her achilles as its been aching. She isn't use to these stairs and this hiking and I think she has strained it so I'm not pushing her to hike or use the stairs. After a hearty breakfast I headed over to our "mountain mons" beautiful cabin and did some honey do's for her which took me up to lunch time or a little after. She rode the golf cart with me as we hauled a couple loads of brush and yard clipping to her burn pile. It was a great day for working outside.

I set in the garden proper some beet and Swiss chard seedlings and then found a couple of horned worms on one tomato plant that had small green tomato's set already. Most every thing is doing well except the lettuce seedlings never germinated, oh well. I did set and read for a couple hours on the porch occasionally moving into the sun as the breeze was chilly. We had leftovers once again and then Steve came up around 6 and we played card games and dice. He won all three dice games and Nancy won Phase 10. I was skunked last night.

After Steve left before dark as he is afraid of the boogie man( lol) we tuned into the Lightning game and they finally started scoring and won 6-2 over the highly talented Colorado team. Hopefully they can even up the games on Wednesday night in Tampa, Later
