Well its a new month and time is just moving right along. We have just 2 more wake ups before we are heading south for the winter as we leave now on Wednesday instead of Thursday due to some very cold and possible ice storms hitting here in the next couple of days. We want to be off the mountain before that happens as we like to leave around 4 in the morning. Once off the mountain it should be decent weather for traveling.
Our guests all left Sunday morning starting at 3'ish until 6'ish so we just stayed up. I did my morning routines that start with cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then some quiet time and then a hike to the top of the mountain where I like to talk out loud to GOD in the mornings. The hike was cool but there was a beautiful sunrise in the making and it stayed that way through out the day, albeit a bit nippy with temps staying in the 50's for a high.
Worship was awesome at Cornerstone and we said our good-bye's until next summer. There were a few tears shed as always with lots of hugs and well wishes for our trip back and return trip next year. There was a good crowd with lots of unfamiliar faces to us which is good for the church. Lots of kids and teens as well which are the future church. Pastor B does a great job of speaking directly from the Bible which is a must as many churches are letting this new age woke ideology govern their influence. America needs to get back to upholding the commandments and the WORD of GOD if we are to survive as a nation.
We met Jake, Katelyn and beautiful Skylar at the Pizzeria for lunch. We saw our dear friends Gerald and Kay there with their friends and decided to cancel our supper with them on Tuesday as we want to now leave a day earlier. We also cancelled our supper with the Frankis's as well for the same reason but they will come by on Tuesday evening for a brief visit as we finalize our contract on the new cabinets which they will do over the winter.
I came back from lunch and went to work outside until 4'ish. I got all of the porch furniture stowed, the fences around the hydrangeas up and the porch plants dumped in the gardens. The biggest part of the outside work is completed before I stopped and watched the Bucs lose to the Saints. Nancy had the washing machine and dryer working non stop until way after dark then we ate some leftover lasagna for supper which was awesome. We will give the rest away tomorrow when we clean out the fridge. I did toss several leftover sandwiches that was brought in by our guests. Today will be a full day as we take out the dishes from the cabinets and pack them away. Everyone got home safely from their trip, LATER
