Saturday Morning April 17th

Well Friday turned to be a little cooler with overcast cloudy skies for most of the day. It stayed around the low 80's for a change. It never did rain but looked like it most of the day. I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my usual morning routines that start with the cup of tea while I post this ramble then some quiet time with My Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up for comfort and healing. All seem well and now it seems Kathryn is doing much better. The Tracy's and Botbyl's are now scheduled for and a leg of lamb supper on Sunday evening which we had cancelled a couple weeks ago when Kathryn became ill again. We also got word they bought a condo up on McMullian Booth Road in the north Clearwater or Safety Harbor area of this county. I'm sure that helps with Kathryn's psyche in getting better now they will once again have their own place.

I headed out for the Rec for a couple hours of pickle ball and got in a good work out on the court with two courts in action. I left with a wet head and shirt and made a stop at the library for a couple new reads before heading home to work in the gardens. Once again I harvested both small and large tomato's and now despite giving them away daily have a back yard table loaded with tomato's. We once again had a delicious sandwich for lunch with those tomato's plus avocado added to it. We are loving this mix of tomato, onion, mayo, lettuce on a toasted sourdough bread with a sliced avocado.

Well we got another estimate on the replacement of the back yard fence and it was extremely high despite the folks who came were very nice and personable and who do work with Bobby's company. I have a friend of a friend coming this morning to give me another estimate on replacing the fence. I'm sure I will let this friend do the work with some minimal help from me, oh well. I pan fried some Mahi Mahi on the stove instead of grilling it and it was delicious to say the least. I have enough leftover to add to my sandwich today. We spoke with Steve in the mountains and he is loving it despite it getting rather nippy at night. He is having fun turning his property into a livable place with a new well, septic and electrical grid hook ups as well as now he is adding a deck. He mentioned he will be there for a month.

I tuned into the Ray's game who were playing in New York and they were winning 8-2 when I shut the lights out at 10, LATER
