Well Thursday started out with spring like temps but did warm up by the afternoon to where the a/c needed to be on and by late evening the temps dropped once again and the breeze made for being outside very pleasant. Florida weather this time of the year changes from day to day especially with the humidity coming back into the picture. I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of green tea while I posted this ramble and then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting up several. My classmates are dropping like flies and we are still what I consider young at close to 75 which is what I'll be this coming August. Wow, thats hard to believe when I never though I'd see 40, oh well.
I headed to the rec on my bike a little before 8 and never sat down for close to two hours of pickle ball play. I was whupped by 10:30 as we played an extra couple of sets as the gym was open after our usual closing at 10, then I headed home to work outside in the back yard and gardens. The garden is so beautiful and producing like crazy. I harvested another cucumber, carrots and beets for our supper. I hand watered and pulled some weeds which also like the garden soil. I need to harvest leafy greens this morning (Fri) and fill the salad bowl once again. The tomato's are plentiful but none ripening thus far.
I read for most of the afternoon and evening after a supper of fried fish, beets and beet greens as well as carrots, delicious to say the least. I watched the Lightning for the first period as they seem to be in an off game losing 5-2 so I watched the Oak Island saga until lights out at 10. We get the twins this morning for two nights and three days. We are excited about them staying over as Bobby and Katie get away with friends to St Augustine for the weekend, LATER
