Tuesday Morning December 1st

Well November went out like a lion with heavy rain and wind yesterday morning. The rain was nice and we needed it and with this front a little cooler temps. Wow so nice for a change and I spent most of the afternoon working in the gardens and yards. It's so funny to see folks wearing hoodies, long sleeve shirts and pants and even some jackets with temps in the 70's.

I started the day with my usual 6'ish roll out to my cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble, spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting up several by name. All seem as well as can be expected at this point in time. I continue pray for our families and our nation and especially for our awesome Potus Trump who just happened to change the course of those crooks in the gov't who we  now know having been selling out the nation to our enemies. I'm definitely not the only person who feels this way as he received more legal votes than ever before, but the crooks in the dem party are now trying to steal this election with fraud illegal mail in ballots and a less than honest vote tallying system. The truth is coming out but we who love this nation had better do something to make sure this election thus far is over turned. Whats really bad is the MSM is in collusion with the criminals in the gov't to make this unknown.

I headed out to the REC on my bike in the gusty wind with light rain. I got in two solid hours of pickle ball play and left with a wet shirt once again. I need to get back to playing 2 hours every day until we head for the cabin in about 3 weeks time. We took off for some shopping to purchase a bike for Gabe for Christmas and some other articles as well as more groceries. Seems we are entertaining again this weekend with 4 other couples for supper and then games afterwards. Amy and Sam and Eliza came for a supper of Zuppa soup as Ave had a basketball game and Tyler went to it. It seems Rocky the pup chewed up and sallowed one of Eliza's socks so he was taken to the vet for x rays and induced into a vomit to extract the sock, oh well. That costs them big bucks again for this dog, oh well.

I transplanted about 20 Bibb lettuce seedlings into the garden and worked over the soil and the weeds shot up with this rain. I have Swiss chard and beets seedlings to transplant today. It seems all of those volunteer tomato seedlings are not tomato seedlings but a weed that resembles a tomato, yikes this in't the first time they have fooled me, oh well. I have to go by smell from now on. The cukes and the kale are doing fine as are the couple collard plants. I started more from seeds in hopes they will make but if not I noticed Home Depot has plenty already large enough to set out in the ground.

Well that was about it as I headed into the bedroom after the supper clean up to watch another NFL game. I must have fallen asleep after a hot shower watching the game because I missed most of it until it was time to turn the lights out at 10, LATER
