Well Saturday was a rather cool one to start the day with temps in the middle 30's and ice on the windshield. It did warm up to the upper 50's by the afternoon and then it dropped down again over night. There was plenty of sunshine which helped with taking the chill out of the air and the blue skies helped with the beauty of the area. The leaves are changing as we speak as they put on their coat of many colors and I'm sure they will be gone from most of the trees by months end. Winter is definitely on the way and I too will be soon heading back to warm or even hot Florida in about 29 days or so.
I did get in a couple hikes alone during the day as everyone was either on their devices or just finished eating which postponed any hiking ability. I had a huge deer scared or startled me on the early morning hike as we both surprised each other. I didn't see much of anyone on top on either hike. The gals were off shopping one again in Roaring Gap and Sparta and didn't get back until after 2'ish which was when I wanted to put the baby back ribs on the grill. We had enough food to feed several more than the 9 adults who made it for the cook out around 5:30. We sent doggie bags home and have enough leftovers for a full meal today for the 4 of us. We lose the Tray's this morning as they head back to Florida to pack up their house they sold before coming last week.
Well that was about it for the day and evening. We did get into several games of Sequence and it was a blow out for the gals as we guys won only one game. Once again we were a guy short so that didn't help which made for some double play on my part for most of the games. Kathryn played with the guys for a couple games but soon left with a migraine. I'm not sure what was the cause but it could be how bad we guys were getting beat by the gals and she was playing with losers. Kimberly was her same loud self with lots of bantering back and forth. Jake came a little late but we soon had a cabin full of folks with full bellies.
Well today is corporate worship day and I need it as well as does our nation and especially for our Potus Trump and his family and for many in his staff and administration. Many have been infected with this virus and the MSM is blowing it out of proportion to benefit Biden and his radical leftest sycophants. The nation is on the verge of becoming a third world socialist country if Trump isn't re-elected in November and there are lots of dem's who are hoping this will happen, LATER
