Monday Morning June 22nd

Well Sunday was a good day of worship both here at the cabin with our on line service at Bridgepoint and then again in person at Cornerstone in Sparta. We fathers were honored at both services and then later in the evening we gathered with dear friends for a supper and then games afterwards. It was another glorious day as celebrated our love for the Lord and all of his blessings.

I'm still suffering from the lower back sprain which at times feels like it mending but first thing in the mornings and during the night its still rearing its ugly head with pain and being quite uncomfortable. I did find my hand held ultrasound device which we had left up here and gave that muscle in my lower back a therapy session which seemed to help for awhile, oh well. It will take time but I'm so impatience when it comes to limiting my activities. I did speak briefly with Paw Paw but he wasn't wearing his hearing aids so that was a bust; both Bobby and Amy called to wish me the best and Amy sent me a beautiful card that always has me in tears with her sweet loving words. Bobby put a post on FB which honored me and made jest of some of my peccadillos.

After the service in Sparta we headed home because of the get together later in the evening. We had bought center cut pork chops which were beautiful and Nancy made oven fires using rosemary and parsley in olive oil to coat the taters, fresh green beans and along with a salad Kay brought and a frozen or cold dreamsicle pie Mechelle made we feasted once again. Afterwards we settled into the best of 5 Sequence games and the guys won 3-2. We then taught them the game called golf and they picked up on that quickly and seemed to like it. Nancy won on the final hand but Gerald was leading throughout the game.

I washed the dishes and Nancy dried and afterwards I hit the shower and had her give me another ultrasound therapy and then headed for some horizontal lab as I slept very little the night before, LATER
