Monday Morning June 15th

Well Sunday was a rather chilly day all day long and into the evening and night. Nancy has the faux fireplace going which gives out heat as well as the illusion of having a real fire; it's much less messy and there are no holes in the roof for a chimney, it really takes the chill out of the cabin especially when its a damp cold evening. We got a lite rain for a couple hours after being somewhat cloudy off and on all evening. The morning started out cold but with plenty of sunshine until the evening hours around 4 ish when it became quite overcast and the drizzle began.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and intercessory for many. All seem as well as can be expected and I've heard nothing to the contrary. We tuned in on line to our Bridgepoint Church service and saw and heard our campus pastor for Seminole, Scotty bring the message today. He did a fine job and is becoming a polished speaker. We headed out to Cornerstone where we met up with several old friends as well as Mechelle's and her daughter Kallie and husband to be Juan for the 10 AM service. We also saw the Frankis Family; Jake, Kathlyn and baby Skylar. Afterwards we met at the Mexican eatery in town for lunch. Nancy ran into the store next door for a few items then we headed home around 1'ish.

Nancy put on her flannel shirt as the air was still chilly but I thought it perfect for working out doors. I did some garden work; moving the few seedlings that made it in one patch into the other patch then potted up a dozen or so onions that did make it into separate pots. I had given them a good dose of bone meal which onions and garlic love and these few I saved from the rotten mess did start to root out while the stems still look suspect as wether they will produce a bulb. I like to think I'm a plant doctor or saver at times. I knew the rain was coming so I loosen up the soil around all the plants and then raked some dead moss in the back woods yards for awhile. We did go on a mid afternoon hike to the top of the mountain and saw no one out an about. It was a crisp day with the breeze coming up the mountain which made for a great hike. There were no bugs out which is nice and the hike was a good one as well.

We decided on old fashion pop corn for our supper so I made a huge bowl popping it in olive oil on the stove. Thats the first time in two weeks I've sat on the couch and watched TV since being here and it was a food show titled Dinners, Dives and Drive ins. It's all about local foods in various parts of the nation and the guy who is the host of the show, eats some what looks like delicious sandwiches. I then moved to You Tube to watch some documentaries and some are very interesting episodes on several different topics. It was close to 9 so I hit the shower to warm up these old stiff joints and it wasn't long until it was horizontal lab for me, LATER
