Well it was another chilly morning on Wednesday that found me wearing a sweat shirt on my way to pickle ball at the Rec. while riding my bike. It stayed that way most of the day in the shade despite it warming up to the low 70's. The air was dry which also helped but that is supposed to change in the next day or so with temps hitting the low 80's and humidity creeping back into the picture. But all and all it was one almost a perfect day to be outside in the sunshine.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to that cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and spent some quiet moments with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting several up by name. So far all seem well as can be expected and there is a chance the "boys" maybe discharged in this coming week. Seems Bobby and Katie had to attend a weekly class in case they met all of the criteria for that occurrence. It's not in stone yet but just in case, the class only meets on Wednesday's so they attended which is getting their hopes up for their release. That is wonderful news but there are are few hurdles they have to over come first, but just the thought of them coming home is awesome as they have come a long way in just three weeks time and they still haven't reached the original due date.
Well I got in nearly 3 hours of pickle ball outside as the gym was full of mostly B players. I played 4 sets of singles as we had no shows for our group so we finally brought in a couple really good B player to give us a rest from playing singles. There was some challenge as a bit of breeze makes the ball do funny things but all in all it was a good workout. I headed home around 11'ish and hand watered the gardens then had the last of collard greens before heading out to give the table base another coat of primer and a couple coats of finish paint through out the afternoon. Spectrum sent out a technician to install our new service but the one part that was supposed to be mailed to us never came so we cancelled for another week. It's amazing the big companies have no idea what the right hand is doing from the left and the tech explained the same. I even called on the phone to tell the company the part we needed to give us service wasn't in the mail but they sent the tech anyway, oh well.
Nancy and I headed to Home Depot to order the new kitchen chairs which I will paint to match what her concept is to match the old table which I'm refurbishing and changing the look of the table top and now the chair seats to match the table top. It seems neighbor Carol is helping with changing the colors of the top and the seats, oh well. Nancy saw a set at the local Amish store and it was close to two grand for matching table and chairs. We did stop and take a gander at the store and its definitely great workmanship but at that price when we have grand kiddos who use that table constantly. I think with my few hours of redoing the table and buying new chairs from the Depot will be sufficient for now.
I grilled salmon fillets and along with a garden salad and fresh broccoli we feasted and then we settled into the Fox Cable network. It seems the dems never quit trying to denigrate this potus and are in collusion with the fake networks to excoriate his action to make America safe and put her first. I'm beginning to believe there are no honest dems in the congress as well as a few rino's. I know we have a couple terrorist loving muslims in the congress as they openly laud the butcher of Iran the one Trump took out as a war hero who murdered hundreds of Americans and maimed thousands. That was just not Americans but folks from other nations as he instilled fear in the populace by killing thousands. What has happened to our country. I can not believe the hatred for this man and his efforts to make the nation great again and keep us safe.
Well that was about it as there were no sports on the tube so I hit the shower and then read for a couple hours. I'm reading a great author who Iv'e never heard of but the book MURDER by Parnell Hall is a great read and the story line is very interesting and introspective. Check it out, LATER
