Well Saturday was a fun day that was spent watching middle school girls basketball at the campus of St.Pete Christian Academy. It was another beautiful day with temps in the 70's and lots of sunshine and a stiff breeze. We did come home for lunch after being there at 9 Am for Ava's first game of the day and then left there after dark as her team clinched a trophy for third place after a hard fought 3 games in one day events. The team that won first place beat her team on Friday night by 5 points which sent them to the losers bracket and the best they could place was the third place. Ava was remarkable in two of the games with being the high scorer at 17 points which was the highest ever of any of her team mates. She didn't score as much in the final win as she was the best rebounder and was a terror on defense. She loves the game and ran up and down the court on every play through 3 games as she played all three games without taking a break. I must say she was the star of the three games we watched her play.
There wasn't much else to write about except for our daily usual morning routines which we abbreviated to get to the facility by 9 for the first game and then we took Amy, Sam and Eliza home as Ava and Tyler wanted to watch the two teams play for the first place win in the late game. We went to Culvers for supper which was delicious for a fast food eatery and the place was packed even at this hour. It was close to 8 before we got home and hit the showers as I had to be up early(this morning) on Sunday morning for the load in at the college for BridgePoint Church, LATER
The picture of Annsley was for her gymnastic tournament where she captured several medals in south Florida which was just too far for us to attend. The others are of Ava and her team after the third place win in this 6 team tournament in St.Pete
