Well I had no internet this morning so here I am after lunch on Monday. Sunday was an awesome day of worship at BridgePoint Church after an early morning load in at the college. We were able to attend the first service then work the front door as greeters for the second one and got away around 12:30 and headed home for a bite of lunch. I attended the Night Of Hope at Tropicana Field with Tim Tebow as the guest speaker and Kerri Jobe as the main music person. It was an awesome time of worship with around 35 thousand other believers and worshippers.
As I said earlier I was up and on my way to the college before 6 AM for the load in for BridgePoint Church and the service was fantastic with the theme Home for Christmas. There were lots nostalgia moments shared in the message as well as a few tears that flowed from many. The music saw lots of old Christmas hymns done in a new way. We had a full auditorium for the first service with about 175 folks and about half that many in the second service with lots of new faces as well.
I tuned into the NFL after lunch and the Carolina Panthers were in town to play the less than stellar Bucs but they were finally playing good today and they sent the Panthers back to Charlotte like kitty cats. It was a good game and I got to see most of it before half time at home and then the second half at the Red Mesa eatery in St.Pete where we met up with the Tracy's and their friends Tom and Elizabeth for an early supper before heading to the Trop. Nancy had double booked us so she had to stay at home and attend church in Seminole as grand son Sam had major part in the Christmas play at First Baptist.
Tim Tebow is an excellent speaker as well as a down to earth Believer and shared his beliefs as well as the way he lives them daily. What an awesome young man. The whole Night of Hope was free to the attender and sponsored by several churches in the area including First Baptist in Seminole and our BridgePoint Church. Pastor Tim Whipple along with the pastor for Indian Rocks gave the invocation. The music was loud and allowed for all to sing along as the words to the songs were displayed on a huge screen. Kerri Jobe is 9 months pregnant and ready to give birth to her first child but she was singing and blessing us all. We got back to the house as I rode with the Botbyl's around 10'ish, LATER
