Well Saturday was a busy fun filled day with pickle ball in the morning for a couple hours and then a stop at the library before heading home to piddle around in the yard hand watering and hoeing some weeds. This warm weather and me watering everyday has the garden looking good but the weeds also are doing well. The dad burn squirrels are really becoming a nuisance as they continue to eat my green leafy veggies, chewing on the Swiss chard, collards and kale. I must have ran them out of the garden a dozen times with BB gun but as soon as I leave the back yard they are back at it again. I've never known them to eat anything other than acorns and nuts but these pesky critters are wearing thin my patience. I need to head back to Home Depot for a roll of chicken wire it seems to fence off some of my plants or get lucky with the BB gun.
Nancy had another huge 20 pound turkey roasting in the oven and we did Thanskgiving dinner all over again minus a few folks. The Ross Family and Betsy so we sent home tons of foods with them as well as kept enough leftover for another night. Bobby just called and mentioned Gabe is playing a tournament game on Monday evening so we will make the trip over again in the early afternoon for the game.
Sunday morning found me at the college for the 6 AM load in for Bridgepoint Church and then we worked one service and sat in on the first service. It was a great day of worship. I spent Sunday afternoon on the couch watching some NFL and our local Buc team won for a change over the 49 niners. Well that was about it for Saturday and Sunday, LATER
