Well Monday was basically a do nothing day except for some garden work later in the day as I had a noon dental appointment in Sparta to fix the chipped and lost filing of the front tooth which turned out to be a bigger job than just one tooth; Dr. Flowers also took out another filing and replaced another filing that had some decay. Needless to say this was two hours in the chair and costly but she did a magnificent job and it was well worth the expense in just how she brightened my smile as well as made the teeth so smooth.
I started the day with a before 6 roll out to my routines; a hot cup of green tea laced with ginger and turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting up several by name. All is well with those as I speak with our "mountain mom" Helen every day and later I spoke with Paw Paw and GG is doing well also. We ate light for breakfast as I had my apple for the day and then around 11'ish we had a sandwich before heading to town. After the dental job we made a trash drop at the dump then headed to Food Lion for some goodies and then the veggie stand before heading home. It was a bright sunshine day when around 5'ish all of that changed to some clouds and a light rain. I did manage to resow my radishes and noticed more of the beans were popping through the ground. The garden is doing quite well.
I was going to hand water but decided to hold off as the clouds came up and then through out the night I could hear the rain on the tin roof. We are anticipating a visit today from my old college room mate before I went in the USAF. He and his wife are coming mid morning and having lunch with us and hopefully spend the afternoon catching up from the past 52 years or so. I'll cut this short as really there wasn't a whole lot to report or talk about except the big dental job, LATER
