Well Monday was another hot and muggy day with temps into the low 90's but the humidity was thick to say the least. I headed out for two hours of pickle ball outside at 8:30 and lost at least a couple pounds of sweat with 6 other players. We decided to play outside early in the mornings instead of inside during the mid morning which just ruins your day and what you have planned.
I started the day with my usual before 6 roll out to a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and some quiet time with my Creator. All is well with those I lift up daily by name and now I need some of you to lift up my oldest grand daughter Ava as she has some minor surgery this morning. She isn't really looking forward to it and is quite nervous but the doctors assured us she would be fine. They will have to put her under to remove the fatty tumor.
I piddled around outside in the garden after getting home then headed out to have my ears lowered once again. All of the Ross kiddos are in VBS at SFBC and they all were sporting orange shirts when they arrived for lunch. I had eaten earlier the left overs from Willie Jewels barbecue house on Sunday. I caught up on a few things as we continue to get the house ready for our departure for the next 5 months. I did get in some down time after running errands after Amy left for the day.
We settled into the Ray's game who won big with some young rookie batters and new pitchers. They played well against the Jay's from Toronto. We flipped back and forth watching the historic meeting between our duly elected POTUS and the dictator from N.Korea. Hopefully Trump can get Kim to lay down his arsenal of nuclear weapons and make the region safe. The libs and dem's are besides themselves and are no longer patriotic Americans as they want this POTUS to fail which means they hate the nation. It's so despicable and disgusting that I will never vote for another democrat ever despite all of my family were Roosevelt democrats. This bunch now with the Hollywood crowd are vile and evil and unAmerican, LATER
