Sunday Morning

Well I just got back from the load in at SPC for Bridgepoint Church which started at 6 AM so that is why this post is late.

Saturday started with a sleep in for me which is quite unusual until nearly 7 o'clock, yikes that's a first in awhile. We were heading over to Brandon around 9 to see grandson Gabe's baseball game which by the way they won 12 to 7 or something like that. At least they played very well with some three up and out for change. I think their record puts them in the middle of the pack. Bobby our son is the teams manager and he does a good job but some of the kids are rather small and are stilling learning about where to throw the ball. Most of the runs for both teams comes on errors but we did see some good hitting today.

We left the field around 12:30 and headed home as Bobby and Katie didn't have the kiddos this weekend and he had to perform a wedding in the afternoon so we headed home via the cross town toll road. The backups on the interstate are terrible still this time of the year when usually the snowbirds have headed north. I think more and more of them are staying year round permanently with the congestion on the roads as a indicator, oh well. We stopped for lunch at a new chain called PDQ which is much like ChicFilet and its comparable except for their fries which doesn't compare. It's supposed to be fresh chicken grilled and it OK but I like ChickFilet better. Anyhow after lunch we made a stop at Sam's for a fill up and some goodies. Gas is going up as the summer driving season begins.

I chilled after getting home watching the Lightning team whip the new Jersey team in hockey for a 2-0 start in their best of seven playoff games. The Ray's looked terrible in the loss to the Phillies later in the evening and then I watched a little of another playoff hockey game. Amy and Tyler had a date night so we fed the kiddos tacos which they loved and then got them their baths. Amy got back around 9'ish and it wasn't long until I hit the shower and then watched a little of Fox News before lights out, LATER
