Well Monday was another busy day and it was a bit chilly to start the morning with temps near the high 40's yikes was it ever cool with the breeze blowing and it was very dry out. I started the day much the usual with a 6ish roll out to a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then spent some quiet time with my Creator in thanksgiving for another day and lifting several up by name. All is well with those I mentioned except for a distant cousin who at 94 passed away a couple days ago. She lived near us in the Mt. Williams Store area and attended church with us at St. Johns. She was the same age as my mothers oldest sister aunt Elsie who passed away when Bobby was just a baby.
I got ready and headed out in the truck around 8 to play pickle ball with some other A players at Forbes Rec. in Pinellas Park for nearly 3 hours. This facility has two days a week set aside for only A players and since our Rec. was closed I headed over and won with different partners for most of the morning. I left with a total wet shirt and head and made a stop at Sam's for fuel on the way home as we were going to Tampa later in the afternoon. I got home around lunch time when Amy and Eliza came to eat with us. Amy brought some of the leftover noodles and chicken from Saturday night and oh was that so delicious. I had set the sprinkler on the gardens and had that running while I gave the light stand in the spare bedroom a couple coats of primer. It was an oak finish but Nancy and Amy thought it would go better painted a light gray color; now I need to give the bed frame a coat of primer before matching it to the stand as well. That means I have to take this bed apart and paint it in the garage.
I harvested greens for a huge salad which we took with us to Bobby's. The traffic is unreal during rush hour so we left a little before 4 which usually takes about and hour. We took the toll road and made it before 5:30. Bobby had pork meat ready for tacos and along with our salad we feasted. Katie's mom and dad came for supper as well then we all met at the park for the start of Gabe's game at 6:30. They were winning at first but too many throwing errors cost them the game against the best team in the league and they lost by 3 runs after the two hour time limit. It was going on 9 before we got away from Tampa and made the long drive home. It wasn't long after a hot shower I was ready for some horizontal lab, LATER
