Friday Morning..Dec 1 2017

Well this year is just about gone as we head into the this last month. The weather is back rather warm again with more humidity. I managed to work outside for a couple hours after my morning session with pickle ball but the hot afternoon saw me reading in the a/c until late evening went I headed out to hand water the gardens for the second time of the day.

I started the day with my usual 6'ish roll out to my handful of vitamins washed down with a glass of V-8 and a little hot sauce in the mix. I had my cup of hot tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then spent some quiet time with my Creator in humble thanksgiving and prayer for several. There isn't much to update on those by name except Nancy did speak briefly with GG while cleaning GG's house along with Betsy. Seems Eric has already enlisted a real estate person to list her house and some realtor came unbeknownst to her to see the house while they were cleaning. Needless to say she wasn't thrilled for not being informed on the house already being on the market. A call would have been nice to inform them of this decision of which they were never consulted. Seems Eric and Diane are making big plans now that GG is in their possession; but GG made Eric the executor and the power of attorney after Will passed away.

Well I had a good workout on the pickle ball court with several others decent players. I miss the couple of A players who didn't show today but still had a good work out and left with a wet shirt. I headed home on my bike and noticed that Nancy was getting her hair cut and colored and then she was meeting with Betsy after lunch at GG's to clean. She was there until nearly 8 and has to go back today. I'll go with her and clean the gutters and the garage and then tonight we are celebrating neighbor Dan's birthday at the Bonefish Grille with the Tracy's.

I resowed the sugar peas and carrots into the side garden and then sowed some new bush bean seeds as well where the old seeds didn't come up very well. I think the squirrels dug around looking for acorns and caused them some damage. I hand watered and then fed some of the new seedlings which are doing quite well with these warm to hot days and cool nights into the 60's. The one cucumber plant has added another leaf and the the tomato seedlings are adding leaves as well. I will soon set them out into the garden and out of the pots.

I changed out the seats in the shower which was becoming hard to shut off after showering and dripping slightly. That along with hanging a load of laundry kept me busy after lunch until it was time to set in and read for a spell. I'm reading another good book by Guthrie titled FAIR LAND. It's almost a sequel to the other books which start with the mountain men heading west to deliver a wagon train of settlers into Oregon and California. Guthrie won the Pulitzer Award for his writings at the turn of the century.

Well I tuned into the Fox News while waiting for Nancy to get back from GG's. I made my supper of venison back strap pan fried quickly and it was awesome in flavor along with a can of peas. Nancy had a sandwich when she got home. Our Neighbor Carol brought over a home monitoring system called Canary which she got as bogo from HSN which works with your cell phone. So now we can visually monitor the house in Florida while we are in N.C. at the cabin. Technology is out of site these days and it's all with the cell phone, Oh well.

It seems the repub's are finally going to give our POTUS a victory with the tax reform and debate; even the traitor McCain is supposedly going to vote for it which will do away with the mandatory buying of insurance in Obamacare. That was unconstitutional in my book. The liberal elites are starting to fall in the fake news companies that support the never Trumper's. I'm thrilled the swamp is being drained even for them as well as those in the congress who used our tax money to pay off their detestable deeds and then never revealed who they were, LATER
