Well Saturday was another gorgeous day with cool temps to start the day and quite pleasant throughout with lots of sunshine and a slight breeze. I had a good workout on the pickle ball court early in the morning and then did some garden work before heading over to help with loading the U-Haul truck at GG's. We then had both Bobby and Amy's families here for supper.
The day started much the usual for me with a 6'ish rollout. I had my usual cup of hot tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then spent a few quiet moments with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting up several by name. The update on GG is a favorable one as she has taken a couple of steps with the walker while working with her physical therapist. This is a complete turn around from what we saw while we were visiting in Michigan in October.
I headed out around 8'ish for the Rec. and got in some good play with three courts in action and several waiting to play. I headed home afterwards on my bike to piddle around in the garden while Nancy got ready to go to the funeral for a friend of Eric's wife who suddenly passed away at 62. Bobby dropped his kids off while they met up with some friends from now Oregon who were visiting in St.Pete. Amy brought her three kiddos and they all had lunch while waiting to make cookies with Nancy after she got home.
I headed over to GG's and we loaded and packed the large truck with items to take back to Michigan that GG wanted. That kept me busy until nearly 5 when I headed home to grill marinated chicken breasts for our supper. I had made a huge fresh garden salad on Friday which was perfect and oh so good with our grilled chicken. They all hung out until 7: 30 or so then headed out for Brandon and Seminole. Amy stayed around for another hour as we put the house back in order and then it wasn't long until it was shower time for me and then I hit the sack around 10'ish. Today is our corporate worship day or as I like to think time to together with other Believers and honor our GOD with praises in songs and a message of encouragement, LATER
