Well Sunday was an awesome day that started with seeing our BridgePoint Church Family and worshiping together at our new gathering place which is St. Petersburg College. The facility is top notch and several steps up from the Rec. with both facilities adjoining one another. Then we had the whole family over for a late lunch as the grand kiddos ran and played together until late afternoon. What a joy that was as the cousins all enjoy each other.
The day started with us getting back into our routines which doesn't deviate much from the mountains. I was up after an extra hour of sleep as we gain back that hour we lost in the spring. We had our cups of hot drinks while we each did our quiet times and I wrote this ramble. We had to be at church as we were greeters by 8:30 for a meeting of the volunteers for the 9:30 service start. We felt like celebrities with all the hugs and smiles and welcome back we received. The service was packed and we saw and met so many new faces as we present our two services in hopes of helping folks get closer to GOD. We have our own campus pastor as well as the band but the message is video taped from the main campus in St. Petersburg. We have TV's through the vestibule so we volunteers get to see and hear the service while staying outside the main auditorium.
Bobby and Katie came around 1'ish and we watched the Buc's play another horrible game versus the Saints while waiting on Amy and Tyler and 5 grand kiddos. The kiddos are in their own world when together. I grilled burgers and dogs while Nancy had a huge fresh salad as well as two large trays of tater tots which everyone seems to love. The kiddos devoured a large plate of cheese and crackers while we waited for the taters to cook. After eating they all played together until 4 'ish when the dismal game was over. Tyler left after eating as he had to do some studying for his master's class in cyber security. Nancy took off to the shoe store so I vegetated on the couch watching another game. We had such a late lunch that we skipped super except for a bowl of popcorn around 7'ish. I could barely keep my eyes open as the lack of sleep or whatever was catching up with me so by 10ish I was ready for some horizontal lab, LATER
