Well this time last week I was on the road to Florida, its hard to believe we have been here a whole week. The weather has turned cold in the mountains with the low's somewhere around the 20's and we are supposed to get a cool front coming our way as well. I could use a little cooling off as its been in the 80's, thankfully the humidity hasn't been extreme.
I started Thursday much the same with a 6'ish rollout. I had my usual cup of tea with turmeric while I spent a few quiet moments with my Creator in thanksgiving for another day and my many blessings as well as lifted up several by name for comfort and healing. The update on GG is fairly good as she has been getting some rehab and now is somewhat assisting with her ability to get in and out of bed. She slowly making some progress but it's a long way off to where she will walk again which is what she needs. Eric is flying down to Arianne's in W. Palm beach then driving up today (Friday) and then up to Seminole to her house. We will all have supper together with Amy's family the next couple of evenings.
I headed out to the Rec. around 8'ish and got in a good workout on the pickle ball courts. I'm finally starting to get back into shape and losing a couple of pounds in the interim. Wow do I ever need to reduce this spare tire. I came home around 10'ish and put some laundry in and then hand watered the gardens. Most of the seedlings look as if they going to make it and now if the pesky squirrels will just stay out. I have chicken wire across the rows of sowed seeds which has helped with their constant digging.
I did take it easy after lunch and read for a change except for hanging two of laundry and piddling around doing some honey do chores. Nancy was off shopping again for company this evening and another supper on Saturday. Kind of reminds me of all the dinners at the cabin as we were always entertaining at least a couple times a week. Nancy picked up some grass fed fillets at Earthfare which is an organic type of grocery near the house and I will say they were the best ever grilled medium rare. We cut them with a butter knife. Yeow oh so tasty and at 5 bucks a piece. Very good and I will be thrilled when they go on special again. We had boiled yellow squash with the fillet which made for a perfect supper. After the clean up we headed in to get a bag of clothes ready for the Red Cross charity. They are making a drive in our area and left a message for clothes; most of which I have out grown and never wear which are perfectly good for someone.
We tuned into the Fox Cable News shows to avoid the hypocrisy of the MSM and the sycophants to Hillary and Obama. There is no evil the MSM will not do to attack the conservatives in our nation. It's such a shame and now there is a story where nearly 40 years ago sexual harassment charges are being levied against a judge who posted the Ten Commandments in his court room in Alabama and is up for election in a month to the senate. Sean Hannity had a good session on his show how the MSM rushed to judgement destroying so many folks over the years especially by our former potus against the police. I think those calls he rushed to make were the start of so much violence against our folks in the law enforcement community, LATER
