Well Saturday was a chilly day and the sun did break through for just a moment before the evening rains came but basically it was an overcast day and then a total rain out for the evening and night. Yeow, did it ever rain in the evening at times a gully washer. The old gang got together minus Eddie for some finger food and Sequence. Needless to say it was a raucous win for the guys as I played a "Harvey Hand". They all headed out around 9:30 between the rain downpours.
The day started much the usual for me with a cup of hot green tea while I spent some quiet moments with my Creator and then posted this ramble. Not much going on as we start to close up the cabin for the next 7 months. I did get in an early morning hike alone and then another one later in the day with Nancy. She was busy in the kitchen once again preparing enough food for 10 people and we sent most of it home with our guests as we have just a couple days left; I don't want to haul a bunch of food home. The salsa chips and hot dip was very tasty and Kimberly brought a 7 layered dip and Audean a German chocolate cake for dessert.
I tuned into the Series after a hot shower and the Astros were winning when I headed in to do some reading before lights out for me around 10:30. Nancy is a night owl and who knows what time she came in. I got a few hours sleep before her "chainsaw fired up" which keeps me awake the rest of the night, oh well, LATER
