Thursday Morning..My last post from this setting this year

Well Wednesday was another busy work day but I did manage a few good deeds for the day helping neighbor Gerald. It was another very unseasonably warm day here in the mountains with temps up in the low 70's with bright sunshine and blue skies. This type of weather makes it even harder to leave these mountains but the time has come for us to leave early on Friday morning for the flatland of Florida.

The day started much the usual with a 6'ish rollout to start the day. I had my cup of hot green tea to wash down my Nutrilite vitamins and supplements while posting this ramble. Afterwards I spent a few quiet moments honoring my Creator and then lifting up several by name who need some special healing and comfort that comes with divine intervention. It seems our nation was founded on this premise but we have slowly let this become abnormal with all of the secular progressivism. Our nation is suffering with a corrupt government and especially corrupt politicians. A great example is the democrat candidate for the highest office in the land. She has sold out the country for personal gain and I believe there are those in government who don't want this found out by the common folks. We are a nation on the cusp of complete and utter destruction if we don't turn this massive collusion of a corrupt State and Justice Departments around and expose those who are involved and have turned a blind eye to this corruption and expose their crimes.

After a lite breakfast I headed out to help neighbor Gerald move a huge heavy table into his cabin then we took off to to Sparta to retrieve a vehicle that had been repaired. I drove his BMW sports car back for him and its really a nice ride. Afterwards I started on working up the fresh doe that I had soaking in ice water overnight. We got several packages of steaks and ground meat for the freezer and then we kept out the tenderloins for supper, yeow unbelievable how delicious this chicken fried meat tasted. So fresh and clean and as I've said before if I could get venison on a regular basic I would never eat beef again, its that good. It was after lunch before we finally finished up the process and got the meat in the freezer and the kitchen cleaned up.

I had several small chores to complete before we took off on our daily hike to the top of the mountain. Once again it was such a splendid day for November that I had shorts on an a t-shirt. We stopped and sat on the porch and chatted with the Clines and Sarah and then stopped for a few with the Brownings before heading back down the mountain. It was going on 5'ish before we got back.

The sun shine was bright and the skies blue as we made our way up the steep back trail. I'm hoping we have time for another hike today our final full day at the cabin but we have lots to do to get ready for a 4 AM departure tomorrow. Well after supper we tuned into the Fox Cable News and learned the FBI is finally investigating the Clinton Foundation for "pay for play"corruption as she sells the influence of the State Department for money laundered through this supposed charitable organization. Many foreign governments received special attention with the then secretary of state for huge donations. I knew it smelled when I learned of the fortune they have acquired while being in government for 30 years and the huge speaking fees that he was paid for his influence. Yikes this is terrible and the media except for Fox have let this slide by.

Well I stayed up through the 7th inning of the world series and the Cubs were leading 6-3 and I learned this AM the ending was exciting with a tie and finally the Cubs took the series by a one run win. Well its been a dry spell for them since they last one and our once manager of the Tampa Bay Ray's Don Maddon led them to victory along with a couple players from our old team,  Congrats to the Cubs!!!  That was about it for the day.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers for a safe trip back to Florida. I will be back at this keyboard hopefully on Saturday Morning!!!
