Well Sunday was an awesome day of worship at Bridgepoint Church in St. Pete and just an FYI if you want to hear and see Pastor Tim's message it streams live as well as archived. He had me in tears with his message and the story about the ending of his mom's life. It was a real slobber knocker so don't listen if your prone to sentimental memories that bring on the gush. Afterwards we headed over to Rib City where we had a delicious lunch out with our friends Dan and Carol. Later in the early afternoon we headed over to Redington Beach and Pier to meet up with Bobby and Amy's families for pictures with a pro photographer and close friend of ours who flew in from Oregon where she now resides. Esther and Jesse were house church members as well as Element Church members for years until she became quite famous for her photo shoots and now she fly's all over the world shooting weddings and special occasions.
Sunday morning started with my body unsure of where and what time it was but eventually I started the day with a 6'ish roll out after being awake various times during the night. It will take a few days to get use to not only the time change but this elevation, street noise and the sound of the a/c running during the night. The Botbyl's picked us up around 9:30 as we rode together to Bridgepoint for worship. It was an awesome service clear concise and to the point about how we are to share the love of Christ to and with others in a simple message shared in a children's bedtime story. The service we attended was packed and now they are adding a new service so instead of 4 there will be 5 services starting in December and there is talk of starting a Seminole campus sometime before or around Easter.
I ate lite for lunch with just some chicken wings as I'm desperately trying to lose these extra added pounds from the summer. I knew we were eating large later in the evening with all of the family plus GG. We got back to the house somewhere close to 5'ish so Nancy put the spuds in to bake and I headed over to pick her up for supper. We had a delicious meal of marinated flank steak, taters, beets and green beans from the cabin garden crusty bread and brownies and ice cream for dessert. I passed on the bread and dessert and only had half a spud and I'm hoping to remain at or below the scales from Saturday evening which had me elated for the moment.
Well we did have some Shelton Vineyard vino I brought back from Dobson, N.C. while waiting for the steak to grill. Everything was delicious and the grand kiddos were having so much fun together before it was time for everyone to head for home. I took GG home and then we settled into relaxing and digesting that sumptuous meal. I did watch a little football and flipped to the Fox channel when I learned the FBI has concluded in about two weeks there wasn't anything in the 650, 000 emails on Clinton's closest aid computer that would suggest anything criminal. What a cover up job and once again we know she is totally guilty of a security breach and the Justice Department and this potus is covering for her because they may be implicated in her corruption. What has happened to our system of laws and justice for everyone. There is definitely collusion in this investigation and a different set of rules for the elite's.
Well that was about it for our first Sunday back in Florida and these past two days have kept me busy and nary dull moment. I'm heading out this AM(mon) to the Rec for some pickle ball as its been weeks since I last hit a ball especially inside a gym, LATER
