Monday Morning

Well our company just pulled out for Lancaster, Pa after a whirlwind 4 nights visit. We had a grand time with Nancy's cousin Cris and hubby Bill. Sunday found us trying to keep warm once again after a cold windy night. We headed out to Cornerstone for worship and then came back to a lunch of leftover Zuppa soup and sandwiches. We then headed to the top of the mountain for a visit with Joe and Yvonne who are at a stage in their life when their health concerns have become more evident with keeping up their beautiful cabin. They are entertaining the thought of possibly selling this real log cabin and we were throughly impressed with the workmanship.

Sunday found us worshipping at Cornerstone after a lite breakfast of muffins and cereal. The wind had finally dropped down in velocity and the sun was shining with bright blue skies. We decided to explore some roads and stopped and visited with a beautiful property that was for sale. We visited with the owner and she was very friendly and told us all about the the house and the 7 acres that was for 329K. It was on the other side of the county and the views were awesome but in my opinion too far away.

We watched football and played Euchre while waiting for supper time. We heated up the smoked pulled pork and finished up the Cole slaw and salad and then got back into a some more card playing until it was time to hit the sack around 10:30.  They were really impressed with this area and the views. This was the first time for both of them to Western Carolina, LATER
