Saturday Morning

Well Friday was a busy day as we entertained Bobby's family which started out with my usual 6'ish roll out and then we prepared a huge breakfast with pancakes, bacon and eggs. It was another a beautiful morning with temps in the low 60's and plenty of sunshine. I will probably cut these updates short as all 5 kiddos are up as I'm trying to contemplate this ramble at 7 in the morning. (now that we have each of them with a bowl of dried cereal and a drink in front of a movie my thought process is back in operation). So much for peace and serenity but we were so tickled to finally have the Ross Family here.

The Ross Family finally got here sometime around 7'ish last evening after an early start. The traffic was horrible especially as they neared Charlotte. We waited for them to eat and it was close to 8 when we finally sat down on the deck to eat grilled marinated chicken, corn on the cob, salad and parsley taters'. Afterwards we had a campfire while some played whiffle ball and then we did smores for those kiddo's who wanted them. Around 9'ish it was bath time for the kiddos and finally got them into bed and then we finally made it to the showers as well. It was lights out for me close to 11, LATER
