Well Thursday morning found me up a little earlier as my internal alarm clock is still some what out of order. I'm still getting use to being back in this hot climate and dealing with this bug that had plagued both of us; Nancy more so than me. I've mainly had tummy pains where she has just about lived on the commode for a couple of days. After my quiet time and a light breakfast I headed out to work in the yards. It had cooled down to the high 70's over night and I wanted to give the yards a good grooming before we head back to the cabin on what appears to be Sunday morning.
I worked up a good sweat in no time mowing and beautifying the yards and gardens. I even replaced a broken off fence post that required the digging of a 3 foot deep hole. That would be a really big job at the cabin but here in sandy soil Florida it took about 10 minute with just a shovel. Afterwards I chilled until lunch time then took off for the library for a couple new reads.
Nancy took off to GG's to meet up with Amy and Eliza Faye for lunch. We have been missing the little punkin' because of the bug and while I had the last of the symptoms it was decided I should stay away the longest. We will see them all today for lunch as we both are much better. Well since today was GG's 87th birthday we took her out to the Olive Garden for a delicious supper and then back to her house for a dessert. I settled into the Ray's game against the Miami Marlins and we swept them in straight games but just a little too late to make the playoffs.
Well I'm going to give pickle ball a little play this morning at the rec as the knee seems to be doing fine. I will probably only play for an hour or so as I need some exercise after all of this fine dining the past couple weeks. Our plan for right now is to leave Sunday morning but that could change depending on this hurricane which has grown to become a major storm. Lets hope it turns to the east and blows itself out in the Atlantic Ocean, LATER
