Well it is another painful start to the day and now my lower jaw has a knot with swelling. I think that tooth has abscessed to add to the mix.It's very painful to touch even the outside of the jaw. I will get some relief today as I no longer can stand the pain. I have been tripling up the dosage for ibuprofen the past couple days and at times its given me some temporary relief but usually not for long. Sunday I was taking ibuprofen every 3-4 hours and made it through the day but during the night this ache became so bad I decided to try a different pain pill that Betsy is using for her hip and that did absolutely nothing. I'm trying to hold mixing any more pills as I don't want to mess up big time with meds. But today I will get some relief if I have to go to the emergency clinic. I no longer after 3 days and nights of this throbbing pain can endure it any longer.
We had a nice birthday dinner for Nancy at GG's last evening and despite the aching tooth I did manage to have a nice supper. I doubled up again on the ibuprofen and with a glass of wine had some relief for an hour or so. The tooth stayed calm until I showered and hit the sack then about 3 AM it woke me with throbbing pain. I've walked the floor since then and looked all kinds of stuff about tooth abscess, root canals, etc. It's been awhile since I've had anything this painful to put me down, LATER
