Tuesday Morning

Well Monday started out nice with mild temps in the low 60's to start the day. There were a few clouds around but it was mostly sunshine; however around noon that all changed and the rain fell. It rained all afternoon and even until late evening before it finally quit and the temps dropped rather quickly. There was a chill in the air by bedtime.

I did my usual morning routines before heading out to the rec on my bike after my quiet times and a lite breakfast. We had 2 courts in action of A players and the play was great with long rallies and of course a wet shirt for me. After 2 hours I stopped off at the library to pick up a couple new reads before heading home to add some of my recently purchased trace and macro minerals in an experiment with a couple of my veggies. I want to see if these organic minerals are really worth the price and if they make a difference from the petroleum based fertilizers such as Miracle Grow. I mixed them up in a water base solution and added them to a couple tomato plants, spinach, kale, radishes and carrots. Hopefully they will make a difference to the taste and production of my garden plants and be healthier for us as well.

Amy dropped Eliza Faye off around 10:30 and we were best buds for a hour while Nancy was back at the dentist. She was having to use Tylenol all weekend to help with pain she was having with the recent two crowns that would be the base for a bridge. We played toys and then watched videos and had a fun time waiting for Nancy to get back. The dentist ground down a little of the one temporary crown which he thinks maybe the source of the pain and that it's not the need for a root canal at this time. I sure hope that he is right.

We had salad and I finished the leftover fish on a bun for lunch. That is really the first bread I've had in a couple of days. I headed to the reading room as the rain inundated us and at times rather hard. That should help with getting those minerals to the plant roots. It was a rainy afternoon and after Amy, GG and the kiddos left to pick up Ava at school we headed to Walmart for a couple items. It was nearly 4 PM before we got home so we settled into reading until it was time to pick up GG and head to Amy's for supper. She was making burgers from the last of their Kansas home grown beef and my what a difference in the taste of the meat from store bought meat. The burgers were awesome and she had mac and cheese along with an Asian salad. A very tasty meal and then she had peanut butter pie and cupcakes for desert. I stayed away from the desert but did taste the icing which was very smooth and delicious. It took some will power but I'm finally down a few pounds at 184 after my workout which of course goes up during the day.

We were entertained by Ava and Sam through out the evening and then we took off after Eliza had her bath and went to sleep. It was a fun evening and the food was delicious. Amy has become such a great cook like her mother. We dropped GG off at her house then headed home for a hot shower before tuning into the Fox News Channel. It was horizontal lab for me around 10:30, LATER
