Well Sunday was another gray overcast day with a fine mist at times and the temps dropped down into the low 50's, yikes this is winter weather in Florida. We had an awesome worship service at Cornerstone and met another visiting couple from Florida. We declined all lunch invitations for lunch as we were expecting guests from the Tampa Bay area. We were caught up in a backup from a traffic crash on the way out of town. Rescue was loading several folks from the 2 car crash into ambulances but none looked to serious.
We ate a lite lunch of salad and then did some last minute chores before Becky and Jerry arrived. They did call around the time we were expecting them and they were running about an hour late. After they arrived around 5' ish we visited for awhile then took off on a hike to the top of the mountain. The views were restricted down off the mountain but the hike was invigorating.
We came back and fired up the grill for some marinated steaks, green beans and a salad with some homemade bread and a glass of vino. It was so delicious and filling that we by passed the chocolate mouse cheesecake. We instead taught them how to play Spades and Jerry and I partnered up and showed the gals the losing way. We played until nearly 10:30PM before it was time to hit the shower and turn in for the night, LATER
