Friday

Well Thursday turned out to another beautiful day and just a few degrees warmer than Wednesday but still comfortable. It was so quiet around the house after lots of folks were here yesterday. We did some home body chores and I started the day on the pickle ball court.

After a 6'ish roll out, a cup of hot green tea, a few quiet moments and a bowl of leftover fruit salad I pedaled out to the rec. We had 8 players for most of the time and except for the teenage sons of one player it was all advanced players. The sons are going to be great players and because of their youth they played up there with us as they were able run down most all shots along with very quick reflexes. I had a soaked shirt when I left after 2 plus hours of play.

I stopped off at the library on the way home and then headed home to work in the garden until lunch time. We cleaned up some leftovers and then I spent the better part of the afternoon reading until it was time to start the grille for some salmon steaks loaded with fresh dill from the garden. I cut some Swiss chard as well and Nancy sautéed it with some butter instead of oil and we left the garlic out as well and just used sea salt and pepper for seasoning. Yeow that was the best ever and along with that a can of butter beans. Delicious eating.

After the cleanup we headed in to watch the news and the more we find out about this Obamacare the more we are thoroughly discussed with those in the Congress who passed this law. What a terrible thing to put on the American people and I hope this next election the people who voted for this travesty are canned. After a hot shower I tuned into the Pitt vs Bolling Green bowl game and it was a good one right down to the last seconds and Pitt came away as the winner. There are bowls games every night this next week right through New Years and afterwards, LATER
