Sunday Morning Feb 28th

Well Saturday felt like a summer day with temps getting close to 90 by late afternoon as we were settled into a 11 AM baseball game that went the full 2 hours and by the time we left the park it was going on 2.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my morning routines as we had to leave before 10 to make the game so I had a big breakfast for a change from just an apple to some leftover fried tatters and a couple eggs. Afterwards I headed out to hand water the gardens as I knew it would be late before we got back from Brandon. The interstate coming and going looked like a parking lot and on the way home we crawled for several miles through Tampa. Where did all these folks come from and where were they going, oh well.

The game was very close and Gabe pitched well but his catcher made an over thrown in the last inning and they lost by a run 8-7. Too many bad throws as they were at one time up 6-1, but with some fielding errors they let the other team back in the game. I ran the score board for the game and at times helped the umpire out as his memory waned from time to time. Gabe had all of his mothers side there as well as Katie's and our side there, so he had a huge rooting section.

We went bad to Bobby's for grilled burgers and a the huge salad we brought from home. Cousins Tammy, Rich and Brooke were there as well and came back for lunch. The boys fell asleep at the game then slept another 30 minutes or so after getting home while we had lunch. We gave them one of Nancy's chocolate chip cookies and they loved it. We stayed and played with them until nearly 4 then headed out.

We made a gas stop at Sam's as well as for some goodies before getting home around 5:30. I headed out to hand water the gardens and then we had a lite supper of some already cooked shrimps and cocktail sauce. I headed in to watch the Lightning play the team they beat for the Stanley Cup at 7. Well the first period was close but after that the Bolts beat them 5-0 in the next two periods.

I tuned into an hour of the Oak Island saga after my shower and before my 10'ish lights out for me, LATER

Saturday Morning Feb 27th

Well Friday was another beautiful day with Spring like temps in the morning which faded into almost summer like temps by the afternoon. The humidity wasn't bad but we still have the a/c on. There was plenty of sunshine and blue skies and the birds were in full symphony even before total daylight. I love the fresh earth smell on a Spring morning with the heavy dew in the grass and on the veggies.

I started the day out much the usual with a well before 6 rollout to my routines that start with the cup of tea while I post this ramble and spend some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting up several for comfort and healing as well as my country and that we make it in one piece the next 46 months with this fraud in the white house. The congress is just as anti America as he is with Obama running this administration behind the scene. The division is becoming even greater with this Equality Bill which will decimate christians and the church as we know it now. We even had some supposedly republicans vote with the despicable democrats on this bill. Check it out and what it means. More signs of gov't control much like the Nazi's did and such total disregard of the constitution by using a fancy name to promote racism and hatred.

I got in two solid hours of pickle ball and actually looking forward to giving these muscles a couple days off from the rigorous daily play. I piddled around in the gardens after harvesting greens and cleaning them for the salad bowl that we will take to Bobby's today(Sat) in Brandon for a family lunch after the ball game. It will be a late lunch as well. The Kesky's are coming down for a visit as well and are relocating from N.C. to Sarasota. Wow, never would have thought that possible since Tammy is so involved in local chamber activities.

Neighbor Bobby came over and install swarm box for his bees in our backyard oak tree. Almost immediately honey bees began coming and going into the box. This time of the year they swarm and leave the main hives and he wants to catch them before they leave the area and relocate them back into his yard. Bees are essential for our vegetable growth and pollination and a mainstay. They are very necessary.

Well I read most of the afternoon on another Grisham book and he is just a page turning story teller. Once again this books central theme is about a character who commits suicide in the the first chapter and the story is about what he does with his will and the small town lawyer in Mississippi who is appointed in the will to handle his estate. Another page turner to say the least.

We headed up to the Botbyl's to celebrate an early birthday dinner for Nancy and Carol as they are a year and a day apart. Nancy will be 64 on the third and Carol 65 on the second of March. We were talking and on Nancy's birthday in 1966 I enlisted in the USAF when she was 9 and I was 19. I didn't turn 20 until August of that year. Well a lot of water has flowed under that bridge to say the least. The Tracy's were there as well and Kathryn is talking a little better. Patrick ate with us but soon retired to the bedroom after supper and we never saw him again. They communicate there by cell phone which is weird, oh well, LATER

Friday Morning February 26th

Well this month is about gone and with it the cold weather of winter here on the sun coast in central Florida. We did have a few cold mornings that hit the 30's with a little touch of frost and the heat did come on for a few hours a day for a few days but for the most part the day warmed up by mid afternoon. I noticed yesterday while hand watering the gardens the sun was extremely hot in cloudless blue skies. The oaks are starting to drop their leaves and the fuzzies will soon appear and the new leaves will give us some shade on these soon coming hot days. Summer is coming and with that the humidity as we have the a/c on already.

I started the day with my usual before 6 roll out to my routines of a cup of green tea while I post this ramble and some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting several up for comfort and healing. All seem as well as can be expected and our dear friend Kathryn may have turned the corner on her illness. She is starting to show some life in both her demeanor and physical appearance. There for awhile she seemed to have given in or given up to this effects of this insidious virus. We will have supper tonight(Fri) with them and the Botbyl's.

I headed out a little before 8 on my bike to the Rec for two hours of pickle ball play. I played well but soon tired as the outside yard work yesterday and the activities had me whupped some what. I'm looking forward to having a couple days off this weekend from this rigorous daily play on the court. I came home and piddled in the gardens hand watering and feeding some of the veggies with a little miracle grow from a spray bottle with some epsom salts mixed in. The tomato and pepper plants love this combo plus it helps with setting the fruit.

Well I finished the Grisham book The Reckoning and while it's really based on a true story its definitely an historical novel with the Bataan Death March which occurred in the Philippines during WW11. The ending made the the start of the book so much more important despite having mixed feeling with the main character being gone. What a twist at the end and he is such a great story teller. I started another Grisham book SYCAMORE ROW and its starting out to be a very interesting read as well. He certainly has a long list of stories to read and for some reason I'm into his genre presently.

Nancy's health issues are not severe so she must make some life changes as the tests results were quite promising. Age and eating habits have made her liver and gall bladder something to be concerned about but nothing drastic at this point in time. Sugar is a big culprit in her life as she is a bakers and lover of desserts which of course is sugar and she is showing that in her abdomen area. The kids also are lovers of cookies and baked goods and she is constantly making them and desserts for get togethers. That has to change and dramatically if she wants to get these two organs back in better shape. Hopefully she will listen and limit herself to one day a week for sweets.

Well we finished up the leftover meatloaf with broccoli which is a great vegetable for the liver and gall bladder as well as some parsley tatters. We both had a fresh garden salad for lunch. We also need to cut out the chips and breads as well as the obvious sweets which have crept back into our diets. They turn to sugar as well and is stored around the organs and the torso as fat, oh well, LATER

Thursday Morning Feb 25 th

Well Wednesday was another beautiful day after a chilly start. It eventually warmed up close to 70 by days end. I played pickle ball in the morning and then worked outside in the yards and gardens until lunch and then read until it was time to head over to Chili's for supper with the Nymarks(Sheri&Steve). Then we all headed to the new BridgePoint campus for prayer meeting.

I started the day with my usual well before 6 roll out due to Nancy's snoring issues but I'm usually in bed by 10 so I'me getting enough rest. I did my quiet times lifting up several and giving thanks. She got good news on the cysts on her ovaries which were benign, now we are waiting on an appointment today about the results of the scan on her internal organs mainly the gall bladder to understand these unusual feelings she gets from time to time in that area.

I had a good work out at the Rec on the pickle ball court for two straight hours and then mowed the yards after getting home. The temps where perfect for working outside and the gardens love it as well. I'm reading another Grisham book titled The Reckoning and it has now turned into an historical novel with the WW11 capture of the Philippines by Japan and the Bataan Death March of which the central character was part of and survived only to come home after his family was notified he was presumed dead. This I'm beginning to believe is why the preacher whom he later shot and killed at the church who came everyday to console the wife at home and mostly alone. I still have half a book left to read, oh well. There must be a turn some where in here to have much of the story to tell.

We had a decent meal at Chili's and then headed to BridgePoint where we had a really good number of folks. Some new faces as well and the praise and worship music was very uplifting as were our prayers for Jesus to be honored and glorified and for Him to once again make his presence known in this our lives, in this church and in this community and for our youths who are being bombarded by the evil one.

We got back home around 8:30 and it was shower time and then some Oak Island story on the history channel. Lights were out by a little after 10, LATER

Wednesday Morning Feb 24 th

Well, one more week to go and we will only have 44 months of this illegal potus ruling the country. It's such a shame to see what he is doing to US(A) patriots who love this nation, fought for it and want only whats best for our children and grand children by honoring GOD, Family and the Constitution.

I started the day with a well before 6 roll out to my usual routines every morning that have me posting this ramble, quiet time with my Creator and Lord and then heading out to the Rec on my bike for a good two hours of exercise on the pickle ball court. We have been having 3 courts in action as we have several snow birds visiting and really most all except for a couple are good players. I've been having a wet shirt and head everyday from the work out.

I stopped off and picked up a couple of Grisham's books as I'm waiting on one Bobby recommended for me. I started THE RECKONING and it's a definite page turner. He presents a good story which could be considered an historical novel only its about the real life situations more so than the history part of the novel. I'm sure this is based on an actual occurrence in our history.

I came back after the Rec and worked outside in the gardens, Nancy was once again at the imaging place for another issue with her ovaries and the cysts that have appeared on both of them. We are hoping they aren't cancerous as she has had them before and they just go away. Her tummy has some issues and we are awaiting the test results from last weeks imaging, but thus far no results from one of her doctors.

I harvested a huge mess of collards, kales, beets and Swiss chard for Bobby next door and then harvested a gallon bucket of green beans for our supper as well as a couple really nice cucumbers. They are finally producing. The tomato plants are huge and setting fruit as well. The recently transplanted Bibb seedlings are adding leaves daily and will soon be an addition to the salad bowl. The radishes are growing and the carrots are almost large enough as well.

Well I grilled bone in pork chops and we had the fresh beans as well as a sweet tater for our supper; however we had a cold meat loaf sandwich which is always a favorite of ours for lunch with mayo, onion, lettuce and tomato. We ate high on the hog today. I didn't do much after lunch but read about 1/4 of this book and then again after supper until it was shower time and then some hour or so of the Oak Island Curse show on the history channel. There is a lot of history found in the pursuit of what is to be the final resting place of treasure and biblical artifacts hidden there by various pirates. Old coins dating back to the 17th century have been found on the site so there is some evidence this final resting place is for real. I'm into it and one who would be on sight as it's a very intriguing show of how so many folks spent tons of money and years trying to recover this treasure. Supposedly 7 folks have to die according to this curse of which 6 have already passed away before the curse is lifted, Oh well. That part is a little far fetched for me but the actual photos of a hundred years ago of explorers or treasure seekers is real and their many efforts to find this treasure is real and documented, LATER...Check it out and get hooked..its fun and very interesting on the history channel. I know it over blown to get viewers but its better than watching the criminal MSM spew the wonders of this bogus potus who is destroying our nation, our culture and rule of law for personal gain.

Tuesday Morning Feb 23rd

Well Monday was another warm day with the humidity once again making itself known and Nancy can not stand it so on goes the A/C. We did get some light rain during the late evening hours after supper. I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my routines of a cup of tea while I post this ramble and then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting several up for comfort and healing. We got a call before noon phone that Mike, sister Dee's hubby had some major face cutting to remove what appeared to be face cancer. The doctor did a job on his cheek as she sent us a picture. He retires in 10 months after first retiring from the Army and now with the FBI and wanted to book some time with us next February when the snow is blowing in their area.

I headed out a little before 8 on my bike to the Rec for two hours of pickle ball play. I never sat down the whole 2 hours which gave me a wet head and shirt. I stopped off at the library on the way home for a new read. and then I headed onto my barber which is just another mile or so from the house for an ear lowering before coming back and working in the garden.

I set out 9 Bibb lettuce seedlings into the garden and then hand watered it until Nancy got back from her hair coloring appointment. We had a lunch and I finished up the left over collards which I think are actually better a few days where they soak up that good bacon flavor. She decided to make a meat loaf for supper so I pulled some beets called chioggia which I had planted from seeds that someone had given me. They are native to Italy. When sliced in half they look like a bullseye but they don't bleed and are very tasty. Nancy roasted them with carrots and we sauted the beet greens. They were exceptionally delicious not an earthy taste like most beets.

I read as did she for most of the afternoon and then again after supper until my shower. I just can not watch this illegal potus and the media fawn all over him and his sycophants. I get enough news from the internet to know he is destroying the economy, the nation and the culture and heading US(A) towards this socialist/communism ideology. We may never have another true election in this country by the will of the people once he and Obama stay in control. It's criminal to say the least.

After my shower I got hooked on the History Channel episodes on the the Curse of Oak Island and watched that until 10ish then it was lights out for me until around 2 when my wife fired up the snoring machine. She is such a hearer when a pin drops but doesn't hear herself which is like a freight train. Needless to say my night of sleeping was over except for a cat nap here and there when I awakened her, LATER

Monday Morning Feb 22 ND

Well Sunday was a beautiful day but very windy through out the day with lots of sunshine.  The worship was awesome via BridgePoint on line with our Life Group at the Nymark's hacienda in Largo. We then watched some of Jack Hibbs from Calvary Chapel in California when we got back to the Botbyl's. He is an awesome speaker as well. We had 27 at the early morning get together where we shared breakfast foods of all types starting with casseroles, fruits and pastries. After the message we broke up into small groups for prayer and then dismissed some time around 10:30. That meal held me until supper time.

We didn't do much the rest of the afternoon except read and nap off an on until supper. I did hand water the gardens when we got home around lunch time and then again around 4'ish as the wind dried out the gardens. Most of the recently transplanted lettuces seedlings are doing well. I may lose a couple due to the squirrels digging in the garden. The tomato plants are nearly 5 foot in height and loaded with small fruit. I have another 9 pack of Bibb lettuce seedlings to transplant today after pickle ball.

Well I must say except for the awesome message on 1 John about Love there wasn't much else to write about for the day,. It was a lounge around take it easy after the busy day on Saturday, LATER

Sunday Morning feb 21 st

Well Saturday was a bit nippy to start the day as the temp were down or up into the 40's but by late afternoon it reached the upper 60's, perfect day for a base ball game except for the wind which at times was strong especially on the open ball field. It actually blew little Ryder and Huck over at times as they came and were loving the opportunity to walk with several of kiddos at playing around the stands.

I started the day with my usual before 6 rollout to the cup of hot tea while I posted then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several by name. Kathryn is back home which is a great sign and haven't heard anything from others with any news. We did out usual social media remarks then had a lite breakfast before I headed out to hand water the gardens and then we got ready to head to Brandon. The interstate was packed going both ways and then again in the early evening coming back from Brandon. I just have a hard wondering where all these folks are headed throughout the day.

The weather was perfect for the game except in the shade you needed an extra wrap as the wind dropped the temps considerably. Katie brought the boys just after the game started and they had a ball as did Bobby's team. Gabe started the game pitching and held the team to a couple runs whereas we scored 5 to start the first inning and wound up with 13 runs to their 8. Most of the runs come off walks and bad throws but Gabe not only pitched a no hitter for 3 innings but did hit a triple which scored 2 runs, because of the number of pitches per game Gabe went to second base and their second pitcher could not find the plate and walked in several runs. Anyhow it was after 3 before the game was over and we soon headed home after helping Katie get the boys in their car seats. All of Katie family was there as well as Gabe's mom and her side of the family. Everyone is cordial but Susan the grand mother of Gabe on his mom's side who is and will always be a very anti social; needless to say we could care less but it's sad since its been close to 5 years since Bobby and Jill divorced.

We came back and I hand watered the gardens then we got ready to head over to the Nymarks beautiful home where our former pastor is now into another ministry and having to obtain his own funding. He made and prepared a stew like dish of chicken and dumpling which was O.K. along with some finger foods and a desserts afterwards. We agreed to help him as did all of us with donations for his living expenses which he must raise as he will be counseling pastors who are in need of support when going through troubling times. It's a non profit business started a few years back and has grown and Scotty has much to add to that program as he has experienced much of what these pastors are now going through presently. It was 8:30 before we broke up and then he came back for some leafy greens as he lives in our neighborhood and being from Mississippi he and his wife love collard greens.

Well I tuned into the Lightning game and they were definitely NOT on their game as the N.C. team was blowing them our 4-0 when I switched channels. Today we head back over to the Nymarks early, where 27 folks have signed up for the breakfast and Life Group that will meet to hear our message and then fellowship afterwards. We are hoping to start meeting on Sunday Mornings at the church even as they renovate the building. There is a huge kitchen there as well as plenty of room for more folks at attend, LATER

Saturday Morning Feb 20 th

Well it turned cool once again which was quite pleasant after a week or so of hot muggy temps. The A/C is off and the house is closed up once again. What a crazy ride with the temps. We even had some friends who had their fireplace going in these 50 degree temps, oh well.

I started Friday much the usual with a well before 6 roll out to my cup of tea while I posted this ramble then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up for comfort and healing. All seem as well as can be expected due to illnesses and age. Kathryn is back in the hospital with lung issues and I've heard nothing new on Tom since his 17 hour surgery on his throat.

I headed on my bike to the Rec for two solid hours of pickle ball play. We have one of our better players back who is a fireball to say the least and a visiting lady from Raleigh who is decent as well. We had three courts in action for the first time in ages with a couple waiting to play. I left with a wet head and shirt and headed home on my bike in a light drizzle. It drizzled and rained lightly for most of the day so I didn't have to hand water the gardens. I did harvest a nice mess of leafy greens and sugar peas and made a huge salad of several lettuces, two types of kales, beet greens, Swiss chard and I even added a couple collard leaves into the mix, wow was that ever tasty for supper with chicken strips on top and corn bread on the side.

I read most of the afternoon and finished a Grisham book titled ROGUE LAWYER. It's a page turner as is most of his books. I started a memoir of a New Jersey feller who was once a biker in a gang then went into the Army and finally an under cop for the police force. Its a good read from just a few years younger than my time period. We head over to Brandon later this morning(Sat) to lunch with Bobby and family then cheer on Gabe in their first little league game of the season. Gabe is now a starting pitcher and we are excited to watch him play. We will love up on the twins and Annsley as well. It's supposed to be sunny but chilly with temps in the 50's.

Well that was about it for the day except I see where the illegally elected potus is doing everything possible to destroy America with his idiotic edicts. GOD HELP US(A), Later

Friday, February 19, 2021

Friday Morning Feb19 th

Well Thursday found us once again after a beautiful day of no humidity with it back again and temps back into the upper 70's, so the a/c is back on. At least that sure beats the snow, ice and freezing temps found this far south into Texas which is just across the Gulf, wow. I'm wondering is GOD is sending a message to these scientists who think they know better than the Creator of the universe about their faux global warming. Just a thought, oh well.

I started Thursday much like every day with a before 6 rollout to my hot tea while I posted this ramble then some quiet time with Him giving thanks and lifting up several. All seem as well as can be expected. We spoke with our ""mountain mom" Helen and sang Happy Birthday to her as she turned 93, wow what a milestone and to think she lives still on her own. This winter may change her thinking and head south to near us next year as she is totally fed up with the cold, snow and ice. Her son Rick lives not too far from us.

I headed out before 8 to the Rec for 2 hours of pickle ball. We had great play throughout and one of our better women players was back after sequestering due to this virus. She had taken the vaccines and feels good about mingling with us who haven't been vaccinated. The play was good and furious for 2 solid hours and I left with a wet shirt. The ride home was against a strong headwind which is supposed to bring some cold weather but so far its stayed away.

I worked in the garden harvesting green beans and doing some hoeing. Everything looks great thus far. I see more small tomato's set on the 8 tomato plants with tons of blooms. I sure hope they make. My worm crop is exploding as well with tons of little ones through out the gardens and a few large breeder ones as well. They are the key to growing a good garden. Well we finished up the last of the ribs for supper except for a couple I will eat for lunch today. The garden salads are so good for us and we are eating one for lunch each day. I harvested a mess of collards for one of gals at the Rec who is an old friend of an old friend back in the days when the kids were in high school.

After supper I read until shower time around 8:30 then watched so Nat Geo until lights out at 10, not much happening after supper, LATER

Thursday, February 18, 2021

THURSDAY MORNING FEB 18th

Well Wednesday saw us back again with nice moderate temps but mostly over cast skies with some sprinkles through out the day. The temps held in the low 70's and it was quite pleasant. I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my usual routines of a cup of tea while I posted this ramble and then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord while giving thanks and lifting several up by name for comfort and healing. I was shocked to read where a dear friend of American succumbed to lung cancer at the early age of 70. Rush Limbaugh will be missed and he had a handle on those on the Left who wanted to destroy the culture of the conservatives. He had a platform where even prior potus's made comment and feared him to a certain extent especially the great divider(s) Clinton's and Obama's. He wasn't a Trump supporter at first but when he learned of his policies to put America First he was all in and supported him big time. RIP Rush and we will miss your 3 hours while we traveled back and forth to the mountains.

I headed out before 8 to the Rec for a good 2 hour work out on the pickle ball court and then stopped off at the library for some new reads on the way home. It had cooled down a little overnight but as the day went along it gradually warmed up enough to wear shorts and tee shirt. The garden didn't need hand watering until late afternoon as the overnight rain and overcast skies kept it wet. The new recently transplanted lettuce seedling seem to be doing fine except for three the pesky squirrels dug up looking for acorns or whatever. It was basically a stay in and read the afternoon away.

We were meeting friends at Applebee's in Seminole for supper at 5'ish and then heading over to the BridgePoint new building at 7 for prayer meeting. The food and service was much better than the last time we ate there and I would do it again as the chicken breast with bacon strips on a bun with all the trimming was delicious and the fries were perfect as well. Everyone enjoyed their meal and then we headed out to the new campus. We had 75 or so in attendance and it seems to be growing each week with many new faces. The praise and worship music was awesome and then the prayer time gave us each a chance to lift up each other verbally or in silence. Nancy is a great prayer warrior vocally whereas I do most of mine in silence except for blessings before meals.

We got back around 8:30 and it was shower time for me then some Nat Geo. on the smuggling and trafficking of drugs and folks coming into America from south of the border. It's just amazing this fraud Potus Biden is opening the border to the illegals, drug traffickers and criminals who are killing our citizens. Where has the concern for the safety of US(A) gone. The evil folks on the Left in the democrat party are definitely doing everything to destroy this nation, our Judeo Christian culture we were founded on and cause this nation to turn to big gov't for their welfare which is socialism/communism. Every where it's been tried it has failed and left the populace in dire straights. Just look at Venezuela. A one very prosperous country where now the folks are eating out of garbage bins, no amenities and crime has run rampart. Unbelievable we have such a corrupt gov't here in America in the form of the democrat party who now through illegal voting has control of two branches of the gov't and will do everything to control the other branch. I believe a revolt is necessary against these vile corrupt folks, LATER

Wednesday Morning Feb 17th

Well Tuesday seemed like Monday which is always the case when Monday is a holiday so this will be a short week. Isn't it funny how your mind works. I headed out to the Rec for 2 1/2 hours of pickle ball play since the gym was free and clear after the usual 10 shut down for an exercise class. We had some great play through out the morning except for one player who is better than the usual couple of old players but she still has a ways to go, anyhow she is game.

I did my usual morning routines that start with the green tea while I posted this ramble then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting up several by name. Kathryn our dear friend is back in the hospital due to her lungs not responding after this virus struck. It seems now she is having panic attacks after getting to her doctor's office for a check up. I spoke with Paw Paw and he sounded fine despite his advanced age. He has had both of the vaccines for the virus and had no ill effects. Our "mountain mom" Helen has also had both shots and I don't not blame them due to their advanced ages. I think I'll reserve taking any shots until a much later date as so far I've been able to ward off any of the virus despite being in the public.

I transplanted more Bibb lettuce seedlings into a 9 pack and then set a dozen or so into the garden that had been transplanted a week or so into 6 packs. The temps dropped from the hot and muggy to the moderate and breezy with a beautiful afternoon. We had the windows and doors open for most of the afternoon. I did find some small green tomato's on a couple of the plants as well as a few nubbins on the cucumber vines. I harvested a huge ness of lettuces, kales and some sugar peas for the neighbor next door. She now wants to put in some raised beds next year in her back yard as she loves my gardens.

We had some leftover fried sweet taters and barbecue ribs for supper. Next time I'll only do two racks instead of three as we gave one rack to Tyler and we still have enough for another supper, oh well. We will attend a prayer meeting at the new church building this evening after meeting the Nymark's for supper at Applebees. We try a different eatery each week, LATER

Tuesday, February 16, 2021

Tuesday Morning Feb 16th

Well Monday being a holiday found me without any pickle ball but I did accompany Nancy to her doctor appointment in Clearwater where she had a cyst removed from her breast. Thankfully that's all is was as breast cancer is now becoming a very unpopular illness with many women. We made a Sam's Club stop for fuel and baby back ribs as we were having the Ross clan over for supper. Gas was up to 2.31 from 2.19 since this fraud potus has taken office. We loaded up with our goodies and headed home just before lunch.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble and then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name for comfort and healing. All seem as well as can be expected. We had rain again over night so I didn't have to hand water the gardens until late afternoon. I did move some of the Romaine lettuce seedlings into an area where the Bibb was which gave them room to grown. I still have some more Bibb seedlings to move up to 6 packs and some to transplant into the ground. This will probably be the last sowing of lettuces as they don't do well in this heat. I did harvest 2 cucumbers and a bucket of green beans. No tomato's set yet but tons of blooms. The wind has been fierce the past couple day and has bent over the tall tomato plants, but they will recover as I have them staked.

It's hot and muggy here while the rest of the country freezes with snow far into the southern states which is an anomaly especially southern Texas. I harvested a huge mess of collards as the Ross's love them and put three racks of ribs into the oven for three hours and then onto the grill to firm them up for about 45 minutes. The meat fell off the bone and everyone enjoyed them. We had baked spuds with all the trimmings and then Amy made a delicious apple pie with some vanillas ice cream for dessert. Wow what a feed. They all left around 8:30 as it was a school night. They even brought Rocky their bull mastiff who is getting huge to say the least. That dog eats and swallows everything he sees. It's a trait of their breed. He is strong and yet very mild mannered and the kids all love him as do Amy and Tyler. He is smart and obeys up to a point but gives off this big bark when strangers come around.

Well I tuned into the rubber game of the Panthers vs Lightening and they whupped us 6-4 in a high scoring game. Our regular goalie had the night off and it showed. At one time we were down 5-2 but came back to be just one goal short but the defense let down and they won, oh well. LATER

Monday Morning Feb 15th

Well Sunday was a busy fun filled day that started out with a 6'ish roll out but during the night a tornado came through the area bringing heavy winds, rain and lightning. We never sustained any damage but not far away there was evidence of damage from fences and debris in folks yards from trees. The rain was a pounder on the roof which awakened both us.

Since we still aren't attending church in person we tuned into BridgePoint on line and then again with Jack Hibbs at Calvary in California at 10'ish at the Botbyl's with the Tracy's. We heard great messages and the guest speaker at Hibbs church was awesome as well. We got back to the house around noon and then shortly left for Brandon around 1:30 to visit with Bobby and family.

The roads are packed with snowbirds but the trip over and back was uneventful thankfully. The boys are a hoot and Huck is walking a little more as Ryder is walking very good. We played with them and then Bobby and I moved some of his garden plants into a different area of the back yard for more sun light on his raised beds. He had quite a few plants but they just were not getting enough sun shine to mature. The herbs were doing o.k. but the tomato plants were just not growing. I brought over a 6 pack of Bibb lettuces and we did sow some seeds and transplanted all of his herbs which I think will do better in this area of the yard. He has a huge oak tree which gives off plenty of shade which maybe the reason the veggies just will not mature.

He fixed a supper of beef tacos which were delicious after boys went down for the night around 6:30. They have them on a schedule and its like clock work after their daily baths around 6 ish. They both eat well and take a bottle just before bedtime then its lights out. Huck is cutting more teeth and he was a bit  unsettled for a change over night and then again as we were leaving around 8'ish. Both of those boys seldom fuss but this teething was always a challenge for us when our kids were going through that stage.

We got back to house around 9'ish and it was shower time for me and then a little TV before calling it a night. Its been a busy weekend with being at the church and the sale for two days straight at 7 hours each day and then again to Brandon today, LATER

Sunday Morning Feb 14th

Well Saturday found us back at our new church building as we completed the 2 day sale of all kinds of items from you name it, we still had lots to give away as we cleaned out the building to get ready for the renovations we hope will be completed by Easter for our first opening Sunday to the community. We will see if the equipment we need to run the audio visual comes in. It seems the back orders are many.

The morning started with a huge thunder storm with lightning and tornado warnings but by 9'ish the skies cleared enough for folks to arrive and some bought and others just perused the items. I worked the parking lot once again which mean I didn't have to be masked up whereas those inside needed masks. Once again I saw old friends and fellow worshippers from the college campus days and I made new friends with many who once worshipped in this building. The neighbors were thrilled we were keeping it a church instead a rumor that floated around it would become a rehabilitation facility for drug addicts. You can imagine their concerns with that being in their neighborhood.

We both worked the building from 7:30 until after 2 when we shut down the sale. I got a ride home from one friend who I loaded up with fresh veggies from the garden while Nancy shopped at Publix. The leafy greens are exploding and I notice I now have a cucumber ready to harvest. No tomato's yet but plenty of green beans are ready to harvest as are the sugar peas.

We headed up to visit and eat with the Botbyl's and Tracy's for supper. It was good to see Kathryn but she has a long way to go if she ever recovers which I'm really not convinced she will ever fully. Anyhow we had Sonny's barbecue they had as a take out and Nancy made fresh brownies and she added hot fudge, roasted pecans, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Delicious but so fattening. Anyhow we sat and listen to this Israeli Amir something which gives us the straight facts on the middle east and it's not good what Biden is doing to our foreign policy. He is back with Obama's plan to destroy Israel and leave those who made peace with Israel out to dry. Already he had snubbed the Arabs and given in to the Iranians and those terrorist in Lebanon and Syria and given the nuclear faction in Iran the green light to make bombs to kill Israel and the US. It's totally wrong, whereas Trump was the peacemaker through strength and Biden is the lover of the terrorists muslims through weakness. This was Obama's policy and we now know he was a supporter of ISIS who had a caliphate under his presidency, the one Trump destroyed and gave those folks a reprieve from all the killings. Unbelievable.

On a good note the dem's and 7 rino's lost their bid to impeach Trump again on a sham charge. They are so worried he will become Potus again and put America back into the role of being independent from the globalist who advocate socialism/communism. I sure hope he runs again and/or becomes a powerful voice to end the corruption in the gov't which is now obvious with those in the democrat and republican parties. I personally say stay away from either party and start a totally new one with the 75-80 million voters who love America, love GOD, love family, the constitution and the rule of law. There are enough patriots to make that happen and we need to start in the elections coming up in 2022 for congress, LATER

Saturday Morning Feb 13th

Well Friday seems like Saturday to say the least as I didn't play any pickle ball, so this morning I'm back at the church building what was once called Church on the Hill. It's a beautiful well preserved building with plenty of space and its on nearly 5 acres. We(BridgePoint) will renovate it after selling what is tons of articles of everything from books to fans and even the pews. We had lots of folks who came to browse but many bought items. I worked the parking lot and welcome folks to the premises and helped some even to carry articles they had purchased. Nancy worked one of the inside rooms. I renew some old acquaintances as well as made some new friends and some were former member of this church who will join us. I did learn the pastor wanted this church to be for mainly older folks but as it often happens they pass away and they could not afford the mortgage and the up keep on the building so thats where we(BridgePoint) got involved.

We had one person/family who paid(donated) 1.5 million of the 2 million or so asking price. We are debt free on the building and land and now with our pledges we will renovate the building. We sold close to 4 grand of articles yesterday and what isn't sold today we will give away to various organizations as we want to start ASAP with the remodeling. We are hoping for a grand opening some time around Easter but the issue is getting the sound systems which have already been ordered. This pandemic has everything on back order, oh well.

We will head there again today(Sat) around 7:30 and spend the day until 2 ish before heading up to visit the Botbyl's and see Kathryn who is now home from the hospital and then eat supper. There isn't much to write about except the usual morning routines and the hand watering the gardens once I got home.

After supper I tuned into the You Tube videos of the closing argument of the attorneys for Potus Trump and did they ever expose the hypocrisy of the dem's and this sham impeachment trial. They should be on trial for insurrection according to their violent threats against Trump and the supporting of the BLM and Antifa groups whom they supported that burnt down our cites and killed our police officers. These attorney's did an awesome job of showing just how they violated the constitution and the lack of due process for any citizen let alone a former potus. Great Job, gentleman and we ALL know Trump wasn't guilty of this attack on the capital and now we know it was preplanned and the dems were complicit with this attack.

Friday Morning Feb 12th

Well the heat is on here in Central Florida during the day as its still February. The sun is very hot and signs of raging humidity is back but at least my toes and fingers aren't freezing, oh well. I rode my bike out around 8 to the Rec for two plus hours of pickle ball after my usual morning routines that start with the cup of hot green tea while I post this ramble then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord. Most everyone is holding their own and Nancy did just fine with her MRI test this morning. It seems she is having some weird feelings in her gut area and we think it maybe a hernia so hopefully this test will determine the cause.

I played hard for nearly 2 1/2 hours as we had the gym to our selves even after the two allotted hours for play. I knew I wouldn't be able to play today(Friday) so I stayed on for the workout. After getting back from the Rec I put a load of laundry in and hung it outside and with the heat of the sun it dried in no time. I hand watered the gardens, pulling a few weeds and hoed a little before heading in to cool off. Nancy got back around lunchtime and we had some leftover Zuppa soup for lunch.

I headed up to the library after lunch for a couple new reads and found 4 that might keep my interest, most are all true crime writings which peak my interest especially one new recent book about a family murder and two young teen age girls that have never been found or located since their parents were murdered in Oklahoma in 2002. Interesting how the local sheriff had a beef with this family and have interfered in the writing of this book and the telling of this story.

I hand watered the garden again around 5'ish as it has dried out so quickly with the hot sun and breeze. Everything is looking good but I'm concerned it may not last long unless we get some moderate temps. It felt like it was in the 90's out side in the sun but the temp gauge said much lower, oh well.

After a supper of chicken soup and a fresh garden salad I headed in to watch the Lightning lose to the other Florida team for only their second loss of the season. We were without a couple of key players which makes a difference but still a 5-2 loss is big against this second place team, LATER

This morning we have to be at the big sale at the new church building by 7:30 for an 8 AM start. We will be there until 2. I'll miss PB but should get plenty of exercise

Thursday Morning Feb 11th

Well Wednesday found us with very warm temps to start the day and by late afternoon it was hot in the sun, yikes here its still February and the a/c is on constantly as the humidity is back. We had an evening out at an eatery we had never visited before called Cody's Roadhouse. The fare was good and plentiful as we picked up our dear fiends the Nymarks. Afterwards we headed to the prayer meeting at the new building for BridgePoint Seminole campus.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of green tea while I posted this ramble then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name for comfort and healing. Kathryn is home so Nancy made them a huge pot of cream of chicken noodle soup and took it up before we headed out for supper. We have an associate in our life group who mentioned to us he now has been diagnosis with cancer and is asking for prayers for him and his wife. He is probably my age but is a very large man and a veteran of the USAF which we have in common. They started coming to our church a few years back as well as the life group.

I got in two hours of pickle ball play at the rec and left with a wet head and shirt a little after 10. Nancy mentioned I can not play on Friday as I'm needed at the huge sale both Fri. and Sat. at 7:30 in the morning at the new building for BridgePoint Church, oh well.

The new lettuce seedlings are doing well and I harvested  several different greens for a huge salad  and cleaned them after hand watering the gardens. I read the rest of the afternoon away and occasionally napping. The direct sunshine was very hot and the a/c felt good. The temps stayed in the 70's over all but the sun was very hot. There was a large boat parade on the Hillsborough River for the Super Bowl winners and it was on local TV. What a perfect day for this event. Well I'm still not watching the national news as I'm fed up with the corruption from this illegal administration who is destroying our freedoms, economy and making this nation a third world country which by the time we will suffer a depression with all of this free give aways to those who come here illegally and to those who hate USA. What a change all because Trump was making America First and exposing just how inept and corrupt gov't has become. Their hatred was so ingrained in the career politicians that showed a businessman could run the nation better than they. Our only hope is GOD will save us but I doubt it as the signs of the end days are upon the world, LATER

Wednesday Morning Feb 10th

Well time just marches on as it nearly one third of the month is gone already. I'm finally out of FB jail after being denied any access to my first amendment rights set forth in the constitution but the censors at the many social medias seem to be in charge for now. I'm hoping they all go bust along with all the dem's and rino's who are attempting to silence the best potus America has had in my life time.

I started the day out much the usual with a before 6 rollout to my cup of hot tea while I posted this ramble and then some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up for healing. Kathryn is home and Tom is doing good according to his wife. We use to be friends but since the Tracy's moved from their hood we no longer associate except on FB. They both have been to our place a few years back and we had no idea he was having some type of throat and mouth cancer.

I headed out on my bike on this warm morning that was close to 70 for two hours of pickle ball. We had a good crowd with two courts in action and a couple waiting to get on. It was a great workout and afterwards I headed home with a wet shirt  only to work in the gardens and yard. I fired up the mower to level out the weeds and grasses in the yard. The grass really isn't growing yet but the weeds are and they needed manicured. It had really warmed up with the bright sunshine after a foggy morning start. The new seedlings look great and I found a couple small cucumbers on the one set of vines. They are loaded with blooms as is the peas, beans and tomato's. I need to harvest sugar peas for the salad which I will put together today.

Well Nancy fried some of my favorite fish Swaii for supper. It comes from Viet Nam and is farm raised but oh so delicious and very reasonable as well. I read most of the afternoon away and finished the book by Kristin Hannah titled THE NIGHTINGALE . It's an historial novel about the French resistance to the Nazi's during WWII. What a great read to say the least as it delves into the Nazi terrorism of the not only the Jews but the French people as well.

Well After supper I settled into the Lightning hockey game until 10'ish then it was lights out for me, LATER

Tuesday Morning Feb 9th

Well this month is moving right along thankfully and the weather seems to be warming up as well. We now have the a/c back on as the warm temps have also brought in the humidity and Nancy doesn't seem to handle that very well. I think its perfect but she get cold and or hot quickly these days, oh well.

I started the day on Monday after a somewhat sleepless night due to all of the celebrations in the 'hood with the fireworks late after the Bucs victory. It was a great game and the news is still talking about the defense of the teams and how Brady is the GOAT(greatest of all times). It's no doubt he showed the young QB of the Chiefs he deserved this title. I did my morning routines of a cup of hot tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet moments with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name. I'm still not sure if our friend Kathryn made it home from the hospital and no word on  Tom after his surgery.

I headed out a little before 8 on my bike for the Rec for two solid hours of pickle ball play. It was a good workout with two courts in action. I stopped off at the library for a read I had ordered for Nancy before heading home to work in the garden until lunch time. I transplanted 18 Bibb seedlings into 6 packs as well as sowed radishes in the side garden. The worms are in abundance there which is a great sign as their casings(poop) is the best plant food ever. I harvested a nice mess of greens for our newest neighbors 2 doors down and showed her my back yard gardens. I offered to help her get one started in her yard which is perfect for a garden.

Nancy was at the new BridgePoint church building helping to arrange for a yard sale this weekend as the old church was packed with articles that are still in good shape but ones that we no longer need. They have even sold the pews which I thought were beautiful as they gut and renovate the building. She was there until noon along with several other volunteers. I promised to help on Saturday with the sale.

I read away the afternoon and evening. I no longer can stand to watch the biased MSM and now even Fox as they have become sycophants of the Left and this illegal administration in D.C. I just hope America can stand these next 46 months of this vile and corrupt gov't. They are becoming Nazi like every day with their hypocritical edicts favoring the domestic terrorist and destroying all of the good that Trump did to make America First. Jobs are being destroyed, those who hate US(A) are being let back into positions of influence, energy prices are skyrocketing and taxes are being imposed to prosper corps who will bleed the nation and corruption runs rampart in the gov't. with the dems. Now that the election was stolen as well as in control of both the congress and the White house why is this man from dementia still ruling by edicts or executive orders. This should frighten every patriot, LATER

Oh by the way I'm still in FaceBook jail as the Chinese censors have shut me down for exposing the truth about this corrupt gov't. We have lost the first amendment and now they want to take away the second one as well with those who are crooked in the gov't and align with the globalist, Wake Up America

Monday Morning Feb 8th..BUCS WIN

Wow what a day of firsts;  great worship with out local church BridgePoint on line and then later in the morning with Jack Hibbs at Calvary Church in California. Jack is one of the most learned speaker/preachers about the prophesy in the Bible I'm ever heard and another first is the Bucs won in their home stadium the big game against a team every sports caster picked to win. The game was exciting and our defense along with the great Tom Brady played excellent.

I started the day on Sunday with a sleep in since our campus isn't ready for folks yet and we watched on line. I did my usual routines that start with a cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble and then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting up several. We thought our dear friend Kathryn was coming home from the hospital but she had a set back with her body to retain oxygen so she will be there until she can maintain a certain level without forced air. She sounded terrible to say the least and I just hope she does recover.

I headed out after a late semi mountain breakfast of sausage, eggs and toast to piddle around in the gardens after worship. We got a heavy rain fall sometime during the night and the gardens were wet until later in the afternoon when I hand watered. The air was warm and the sun was bright and with this sandy soil it doesn't take long for the soil to dry out. I harvested Amy a nice bunch of collards and noticed the new Bibb seeds are showing some colors. The other lettuces are adding leaves as well and we will soon have romaine and loose leaf lettuces. I also harvested a huge mess of curley leaf kale for the Zuppa soup we were taking to the Super Bowl supper at the Botbyl's.

I read for a couple hours and started a new book titled The NIGHTINGALE. Wow, I love this author who I had never heard of Kristin Hannah. She is writing about the French resistance during WWII. It's an historical novel and what I have read so far is very real about that time.

Well I must say I'm surprised the BUCS played so well and Brady was great for an older guy who is without a doubt the great QB of all times as his records prove him to be so. The press are very critical of him because he is a conservative and came out for Potus Trump. He is a team player and leaves his talking on the field as it should be and the team played really well beating this young team from Kansas City. The first half was much closer than the second half as the Bucs kept this young elusive QB scrambling to find his open receivers. Great Job Bucs and I'm still out on the politics of the NFL and their disrespect for the anthem and the flag, LATER

Sunday Morning Feb 7th..Super Bowl Sunday

Well Saturday turned out to be another typical warm sunny Florida day in winter. It was a bit cloudy to start the day with warm temps and by late afternoon it reached the 70's. We were in Brandon watching the twins from 2'ish on until around 5:30 when everyone all most at once showed up; Amy and family from Seminole, Katie and Annsley from her meet and then Bobby and Gabe from ball practice. We had just fed the twins and now we were waiting to delve into the lasagna and salad Nancy had made brought with us.

I started the day since there was no pickle ball sleeping in until 7 ish. I did my customary routines of green tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting up several by name. We got word that Kathryn is coming home today Sunday in time for supper and the big game after being hospitalized for over a month with the virus. No word yet on another friend who had extensive surgery at Moffett. Everyone else seems fine. We spoke with Dee and Mike while traveling to Branson and all seems well there with them and family.

I headed out to hand water the gardens before we left for Brandon but during the night we had a storm here in Seminole so I will forgo watering until late afternoon . It could be a wet soggy game with this front that has moved into the area. We are planning on visiting with the Cool Peoples Klub at the Botbyl's as they have a huge TV and share goodies for supper. Nancy is making a pot of Zuppa Soup with crusty bread and supposedly there will be wings and finger sandwiches so we shouldn't go hungry.

Well that was about it as we got back home around 9'ish. It was a great birthday celebration with family and delicious food. The grand kiddos played hard once they all got together and the dessert we all loved with the pound cake, fresh black berries and goop(custard and whipped cream), LATER

Saturday Morning Feb 6th

Well Friday was a busy fun filled day with awesome warm temps through out the day and evening. We took the extra blanket off the bed and Nancy was thinking about turning on the a/c after her shower. We kept the Ross grand kiddos from about 5'ish until around 9:30 as Amy and Tyler headed out for their 16th anniversary dinner out at a place on the beach.

I started the day with a before 6 roll out to my usual routines of a cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting up several. We got a good word on Kathryn as she maybe coming home over this weekend or at the latest on Monday. Haven't any news on our friend Tom who under went 17 plus hours of surgery at Moffett Cancer Hospital in Tampa. Speaking of Tampa the big Super Bowl Game is this Sunday with the home town team playing, Go Bucs.

I headed out for two hours of good pickle ball play and left around 10 with a wet head and whupped. I will need this weekend to rest and regroup for another week of play. It was fun and constant play as there were just 4 of us decent players with no breaks in between. I hung clothes and then piddled in the gardens hoeing, weeding and hand watering. With the constant breeze and dry temps I had to hand water again later in the afternoon as the warm temps quickly dried out the gardens. Everything looks good but I'm still waiting on some fruit to be set on those many plants loaded with blooms.

Nancy was in the kitchen all morning and most of the afternoon as she prepared desserts, dressings and put the finishing touches on the meal we are taking to Bobby's on Saturday's after lunch for a family dinner to celebrate Bobby's 40th. We will have the Ross Family join there as well. Annsley is at a gymnastics competition so she and Katie will join us later in the evening as well.

The Ross kiddos love tacos so thats what we had for supper and then we played games until Amy and Tyler came by for them around 8:30. It wasn't longer after they all left I hit the shower and was then watching some Nat Geo until lights out around 10:30, LATER

Friday Morning Feb 5th

Well Thursday saw us with the biggest frost yet this winter here inFlorida. Luckily the huge back yard oak protected the garden from any settling on the garden and killing certain plants that are not freeze or frost loving. All of the roof tops on my way out on the bike around 8 were literally white with ice or frost; same thing.

I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea while I posted this ramble then spent a few quiet moments with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and prayers for several who are hurting. I haven't heard from a couple who were under going drastic surgery for cancer and or from Kathryn if she is coming home this weekend. Everyone else seems fine except for the million now without a job because of this illegal potus who hates the American folks. I have never seen such autocratic decisions to appease a small group of domestic terrorists by this man who was NOT elected legally, oh well. I can vent all I want but nothing is going to change unless there is a revolt through out the country to rid him and his sycophants in the democrat party.

I got in two good hours of constant pickle ball play and left with a wet head and a whupped body. I'm actually looking forward to a weekend off from playing as it been once of those weeks with unbelievable fast and furious play. We had a couple of new players come to the group and they brought fresh legs and good play as well.

I headed home and the temps had warmed up considerably by 10'ish after the chilly ride out to the rec. a little before 8. Nancy wanted a Sam's Club run so we headed out shortly after changing clothes. Gas was up another 30 cents a gallon since this idiot illegal potus decided to stop all energy production. We purchased a few goodies and a couple necessities  before heading to Publix which is across the street for items for Bobby's birthday dinner on Saturday at his place. We will bring all the fixin's for his dinner but eat it there because of the schedule the twin boys are on, plus the house is large enough for everyone to have plenty of space especially the kiddos to play.

Well I piddled outside in the gardens hand watering and hoeing the weeds which grown over night. Lots of blooms on the peas, beans, cukes and 'maters. I'll soon have more Bibb to transplant into 6 packs before inserting them into the garden. It's definitely a banner year for growing. We spoke with neighbor Gerald from the cabin and he mentioned he saw no obvious damage from the two earthquakes that happened over night or even felt them. There is plenty of snow on the ground yet and the temps are cold. I wished him well but I'm no longer a fan of cold winter weather.

Well we ate leftover turkey, smashed taters and a salad for our supper. This turkey was the best ever with flavor and staying moist even after being pulled from the bone. I have enough for a couple cold sandwiches which I love instead of deli meats, LATER

Thursday Morning Feb 4th

Well Wednesday was a fun filled busy day that start out with two hours of pickle ball, then out to supper in the evening with friends and then prayer meeting at our new church building with more friends and Believers. I did have some down time during the afternoon while Nancy was off to her doctor's appointment. I read for a couple hours a new Ann Rule true crime book. She was such a great writer of this subject and it's sad she has now passed away.

I started the day with a well before 6 rollout to a chilly morning with temps in the 40's. It's been that way for the last couple of mornings and even into the afternoon where it's been a bit nippy. At least we are seeing plenty of sunshine except for Monday. I did my usual morning routines, quiet times giving thanks and lifting several up for comfort and healing. I must say I think Kathryn is turning the corner towards healing and just maybe coming home this weekend. We are all hoping she is but it will be a long haul for her recovery. Another associate whom we were once close to is going in for cancer surgery today at Moffet in Tampa.

I hand watered the gardens and did some weeding and hoeing as well. The radishes are all gone for now and I will resow when the moon gets in a dark stage. I have more Bibb seeds that have germinated the squirrels dug out but they seem to have made it. All of the Bibb is gone but if all these seeds mature once again I will have tons to give away. I'm still waiting on the tomatoes and cucumbers to set fruit on their many blooms. I did notice there are a couple sugar pea pods forming on the vine and the other leafy greens are doing great in these cool days.

Well that was about it for the day as we met up with the Nymark's for supper at Outback. The food as always was delicious and we headed to BridgePoint in Seminole for prayer meeting. Once again we had some new faces as well as many of our regulars in attendance. I harvested a nice mess of collards for one family I gave them to last year. We think alike both politically and patriotically. Speaking of politics I see where the hate America Biden is undoing all of the great things Trump did for this nation. The dems are so afraid of him and the many millions who legally voted for him and they are once again trying to impeach him over the very things and actions they are guilty of committing. Now the dems are trying to suppress the rep's who voted for him in congress. This is fascism at its finest and corruption runs deep within the dem party, LATER

Wednesday Morning Feb 3rd

Well Tuesday was a bit of the taste of our Florida winters. It was chilly all day with that strong northern breeze and at time quite blustery. I don't believe it ever reached 60, but at least the sun was shining for the most part. I didn't do a whole lot outside except hand water the gardens after harvesting the last of the Bibb lettuces and then cleaning them and putting a salad together while Nancy shopped for Bobby's birthday which is today. He is 40 years old, yikes where did that time go?

I started the day much the usual with a later than usual roll out. I suppose it was the warmth of that extra blanket which contributed to sleeping in until nearly 7. I rushed to get in partially some of my routines before heading out before 8 on my bike to the Rec and two hours of pickle ball play. I had a great workout and left with a wet shirt and head. I stopped off at the library for a couple new reads so instead of watching what this incompetent potus Biden is doing to destroy America in the biased MSM, I read in the afternoon and evenings after supper. I do check the internet to get the news which is quite depressing when I think of how these criminals in the congress are destroying this nation because of Trump's exposing their corruption. Never would I have believed we have so many former potus's and elected officials who hate this man so much so as destroy our very country. It's totally depressing and to think we have so many patriots who drink the kool aid for the dem's and Biden as well.

We had a frozen fully cooked turkey since Christmas in the the freezer so as to make room for Nancy's lasagnas we thawed it out and had it for supper. It was delicious and very moist despite being in the freezer for a couple months. It was one of those give aways from Publix and it turned out very well. We had asparagus and smashed taters with it for our supper. I finished up the ALONE series on the History channel and the fellow who won the million bucks had to outlast 9 other folks and stay 100 days in the Arctic alone with just 10 items plus clothing. He was close to 50 years of age and outlasted everyone and despite temps well below the sub zero with blizzards he managed to stay warm; eating rabbits, squirrels, fish, musk ox and porcupines. He was a survivalist and I relished at his endeavors and did so vicariously.

Well that was about it for this day. Our son Bobby was born on this day in 1981 and I thought the world of having a son and then a daughter came along in 1983. I'm a blessed man having them and 7 grands among them. I always wanted kids and I always hoped to be the best father of which I never had except for an aunt and uncle who took me in at an early age and gave me a chance in life. At times it wasn't the best of situations but I survived and learned how to work and make it on my own. GOD has been good to me and I'm thankful daily as I lift up those who are less fortunate. I give Him all the credit for carrying me in those times when I needed a spiritual father instead of an earthly one , LATER

Tuesday Morning Feb 2nd

Well Monday found us with a heavy rain storm during the night and a front moved into the area bringing blustery chilly air and over cast skies for most of the day. It was a cold ride out to the Rec a little before 8 on my bike.

I rolled out of bed at my usual before 6 time wot a cup of hot tea while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name for healing. Several are still under the weather but coming along. Speaking of weather our cabin is covered in snow and ice and the temps are miserably cold. The pics neighbor Gerald sent were beautiful but I could feel the cold coming through them. It's not for me I found out over the holidays, oh well. I got in two hours of pickle ball and headed home. I didn't need to water as the gardens were rather wet from the storm so I went on the computer and read until lunch time.

Well I'm cutting this ramble short as I over slept for a change until nearly 7 which is hard to believe and I'm running late. Really except for the lasagnas Nancy made for this weekends birthday dinner for Bobby there isn't much to write about. We had some leftover sauce on spaghetti noodles and it was delicious for supper, LATER

Monday Morning February 1st

Wow only 47 more months of this illegal potus, Biden. Sunday was a great day of worship despite doing it in both our house and with Dan, Carol and Patrick at the Botbyl's abode later in the morning. It's the first time in many moons since we have last visited them in their place. We even face timed with Kathryn who is still in the hospital and does seem to be improving but not from what I saw on the phone screen. They all said she looked great from what she did a few weeks back but I was not impressed with what I saw, oh well. I'm thrilled to hear she is improving and may even be discharged in this coming week but she has a long way to go in my opinion.

Worship was great with BridgePoint first and then again with Jack Hibbs coming live from Chino Hills California. He is pushing the recall of their corrupt governor Gavin Newsom in his services along with most pastors in the state. Jack teaches and preaches on the future and the prophets and their predictions of the end times and how true it's coming with the signs we see today. One thing he is emphatic about is the allegiance to Israel(God's chosen people) because they are the key in the coming of the end times. All muslims nations have and still are trying to destroy these folks who for the most part are still not aligning themselves with Jesus as the Messiah. Funny isn't it.

We headed out to Texas Roadhouse afterwards for a delicious lunch. Patrick drove separately as he wanted to do some shopping at Wal-Mart which was next door. I drove as usual and the food was good as well as it was to get together with them; we sure miss Kathryn and her opinions. After getting back I hand watered the gardens as the sun and wind had really dried it out. I did harvest two more heads of Bibb lettuces and took them up to the Botbyl's. The Bibb has really headed up so I sowed more seeds again after the squirrels dug the last ones I sowed up. This time I put chicken wire over them which I should have done before, oh well. I did harvest a nice mess of collards for the neighbor behind me and he was most appreciated for them. He and his older friends drink a little beer and play corn hole almost every night but aren't too rowdy. So far they usually quit by bed time.

I read for a couple hours then watched ALONE on the history channel until bed time at 10. I did notice that FB took me out of jail for their biased opinion on hate or violent speech which I made neither with my comment. I only agreed this idiot from Texas, Beto who wants to confiscate our guns should run for governor as I wanted to see him get beat again after losing out the first time he sought office. So the censors put me in jail at first for 7 days but they must have realized they made a mistake so I was back on yesterday, LATER
