Well Monday was another hot day with bright sunshine and NO rain once again with temps in the low 90's but we did have a steady breeze which in the shade kept it quite comfortable. I spent the biggest part of the day in the garage refurbishing our old kitchen table which we had given to Amy when Nancy decided she needed a bigger and more better looking table which turns out to be nothing as solid as this unfinished table we purchased and I originally stained and urethaned back after we were first hitched.
I started the day with a 6:30 roll out knowing there would be no pickle ball play but that still is quite unusual for me as my internal alarm has me up at just about the same time every day; a little before 6. I did my morning routines; a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric, quiet times where I give thanks and lift up several by name especially with this insidious virus that has affected the world and right here in America as well as our Potus, military and badge families. Yikes it getting chaotic out there and just another reason the cabin is calling my name; however I heard there are now a couple cases of the virus being found in our closest towns.
I headed out to hand water the garden for one of three times during the day. I harvested 3 cukes and noticed several more about ready to be picked as well. Half of the back yard fence now has the vines climbing nearly to the top with hundreds of blooms, yikes I think I've found the spot where from now on I'm planting cucumbers. The pole beans are blooming and the egg plants are setting more fruit. The Swiss chard and leaf kale is about gone but the curly kale is doing awesome. I harvested more collards and romaine lettuce and gave away to Betsy and neighbor Carol. I need to pick radishes again today as they too have found the perfect place when the seeds are sowed during the dark of the moon. It's amazing when sowed in the light of the moon I get tall plants and no radish but in the dark of the moon very small plants and huge radish, oh well.
I put a couple nice kingfish filets on the smoker( my neighbor blessed for the second time) with some apple and mesquite wood for a couple hours at the low heat of 250 degrees. I'll make a fish spread today for our lunch which the first time I ever made it; was awesome. The season is running for the fish in the gulf but I think most of the public boat ramps are closed due to the virus which out in the sun and on the water makes absolutely no sense for it spreading to others. Nancy made a pot of zuppa toscano soup for our supper and it was delicious as always with fresh kale from the garden. We have enough for lunches the rest of the week and maybe another supper. I could eat soup every day even when its summer time.
We took a couple mile bike ride through the hood just as evening about to turn into night. The temps were perfect and Nancy fared better than during the heat on the Sunday afternoon ride. She just can not take the heat as she doesn't sweat which actually cools you off when being hot, oh well. I had set the sprinkler on the front lawn which now is showing some beautiful green and the crepe myrtle tree is sending out lots of new green leaves. It survived another year while being planted in the middle of the old oak tree stump which was hollow another reason we took it out a few years back. It wasn't long after a hot shower I was ready for some horizontal lab, LATER

Monday Morning March 30th
Well the summer doldrums are here with temps in the low 90's, bright sunshine and NO rain. We certainly could use some as its been weeks since we last had any. Sunday was just that, a sunny day and while we still are not having any corporate worship with gatherings we still are have services on line which may become the new thing, especially since we still do not have a campus building and all of our services are simulcast. Who knows what will happen. We worshipped at 9 AM at the bridgepointfl.com and heard a great message from the book of Esther, wow I learned this book never mentions GOD in the text and its found in the old testament, but never under estimate His chosen folks and the duplicity of many in history that have hated them and wanted to be rid of them. When I read the book again with a different perspective I see where so many in our life time have tried to erase them as well.
Sunday's are becoming so much different with not meeting corporately which I dearly miss. The smiles, hugs and handshakes to me are endearing and yet the hugs and handshakes may be a thing of the past with this pandemic which is generated by personal contacts. After the service on line I headed out to hand water the gardens and piddle around in the gardens and yards until lunch time. I'm sure missing the physical activity of being on the court. I'm riding the bike instead so we met up with the Ross Family on the trail at 3 ish and rode the trail all the way to SR 688. It's about a 3 mile ride each way. Nancy was having some issues with the heat as she doesn't sweat and it was rather hot outside, but a gentle breeze kept her from passing out. She stayed in the house the rest of the day after getting back around 4'ish.
Amy and Tyler brought by their kitchen table which needs to be refurbished which will give me a project for a couple days since I'm not able to play any pickle ball. Seems they have even shut off the outside courts and restricting movement as much as the local gov't can, oh well. I can at least still get out on my bike and there were tons of folks doing just that on the bike trail in spite of it being hot. We had a fresh garden salad for supper which was delicious and I pulled another cucumber which are now maturing daily. I'll soon have enough to give away. I did load Amy up with lettuces, kale and Tyler with some tomato plants that are growing like weeds for his garden. They came up in my compose pile. I'm getting a few tomato's but nothing like I wanted to for the size of the plants. I'm not sure what is missing as the worm are in huge supply and usually make the best plant food available. The Swiss chard has died both from the heat and the nematodes which have sucked the life of the plant in the roots. I checked the dying plants and the roots looked like arthritis knots, oh well. The heat is taking its toll on most of the leafy greens except the kale and collards which are still exploding with growth.
I've found some great interesting documentaries on You Tube and since the library is closed I'm watching them. I love the ones of survival and living off the grid as well as true stories of man vs the wild. I did watch one about the richest cruise ship in the world and this doc took you inside the workings of this huge ship and what makes it the most expensive cruise with suites going for about 10 grand a night, yikes. It was a great story and very informing with the inter workings of that industry that cater to the filthy rich, Oh well, LATER

Sunday Morning Mar 29th
Well March is just about in the books and I remember back to the warnings of a Shakespeare play or saying "beware the Ides of March" or something to that affect, well this has been a month to remember if I may digress: this insidious virus that has quarantines, no sports on the tube or any being played by all the major sports team, a shortage of toilet paper and food items due to hoarding and those in the congress holding up funding to get their own pet pork projects into the bill to screw the common man/woman and constantly denigrating our potus Trump. Sounds like something out of a Stephen King story or George Orwell or a refection of what one candidate in the next election if he were elected would bring on as a result of his socialist ideology.
I started the day on Saturday with an after 6 rollout to my routines that start with the cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in humble thanksgiving and lifting several up by name. The list grows longer each day but all seem to be doing as well as can be expected due to their health and age issues. Afterwards I checked on the world news through the FOX cable news which is becoming the most accurate and unbiased networks to keep US(A) in formed of the dangers with this virus and what is being done to make life as safe as possible. I find the MSM is so full of hatred for our potus they have lost all integrity and credibility to be considered a worthy outlet for information. They have even mentioned the possibility of not broadcasting the live daily briefing about this virus by Trump's team to America. Never before have I seen such vitriol by supposedly patriotic folks towards a sitting Potus, who so many in the nation listen to for guidance and reassurance. It's despicable and I think borders on sedition.
We have self quarantine to an extent except for family. There has been no contact except verbally with those we regularly hug and hand shake. I have given away lots of of leafy greens from the garden to neighbors and friends as God's bounty is pouring out and over flowing with garden goodies. I cooked a huge mess of collards greens for our supper we enjoyed with Amy and family last evening. We all gave air hugs as we ate smoked pulled pork, tater tots and cold slaw. Nancy made a huge batch of cup cakes as well. I passed on the cup cakes for now as she brought 4 back home with us. I'm trying to keep the weight down to between 180-185 but its difficult when she makes apple pie with vanilla ice cream and now chocolate cupcakes with the delicious white icing, dang those are the best ever in flavor.
I took off around 9'ish for an hour bike ride on the Pinellas Trail which runs for close to 40-50 miles in total length. I probably did 10 miles up and back and had a good ride. I did see some old friends from Bridgepoint I hadn't seen in awhile, so I stopped and chatted for a few and invited them to come by for collards as well. Neighbor Andrew across the street has a boat and he and his friends caught more kingfish on Friday and blessed us with a couple nice filets that I will smoke and make a fish spread, delicious is all I can say.
We are healthy with no signs of the virus and I'm hoping to get back on the court for pickle ball on Monday as being fit and eating right as well as no group contacts have seem to make a difference in our ability to stay healthy. This virus does not like heat or moisture so from what I can ascertain drink hot fluids at times and spend some time in the sun and stay fit, LATER
Eliza Faye is so cute with her missing front teeth and she so wanted to hug us when we came for supper last night.

Saturday Morning..March 28th
Well Friday was basically a stay at home day and work outside in the yards and gardens; except for the afternoon when it got to hot to do anything outside. I read and cat napped until 5'ish when I appeared from the computer bedroom and we did some supper. We got an early morning phone call from sister Dee and hubby Mike as they were out an about heading to shop in the big city of Woodstock, Va. It always raises our fears of someone in trouble when the phone rings at that time of the day but it was a social call and we were pleased to start the day with much laughter. All is well with them and their family, but they too are on lock down or lock out from this virus with their jobs.
After my morning routines and quiet times Nancy did some bacon in the oven and we had a bacon, egg, tomato and lettuce sandwiches for our late breakfast. Afterwards I headed out to hand water and piddle around in the back yard gardens and yards. I harvested a nice mess of radishes and carrots from the side garden. I'm waiting on the recently sowed Bibb lettuce seeds to seed if they germinate. It's starting to get so hot now that they may not show any color despite keeping the soil damp.
I harvested the last couple Bibb heads and cleaned then to add to the salad bowl when needed. I still have some Simpson and Romaine heads that haven't bolted yet. The cukes are finally showing lots of nubbins as are the two egg plants. We won't go hungry thats for sure and I'm harvesting collard greens twice today; one mess for us and the Ross family supper this evening and another mess for the local firemen/neighbor Bobby as he goes on 24 hour duty Sunday morning. His son Kellen, also a rookie fireman for St.Pete has moved back in with his dad, after his wife and he split. They help with looking after our place when we leave in June.
Well I've been watching You Tube on the lap top and I must say since the library has closed for any book's checkouts or returns there are some very interesting video's about living off the grid as well as some awesome historical documentaries. I'm relaxing on the bed with my ear plugs in so as to not interfere with Nancy's live streaming with her social groups.
We took a nice evening hike just before dark through the hood and the streets are bare of any traffic. We did see lots of what appeared family folks out in their yards, talking, exercising and barbecuing as well. It wasn't long after Tucker Carlson that I hit the showers and was soon tuned in to the Nat. Geo. Channel about Alaska living in my bedroom and then it was lights out at 10'ish for me, LATER

Friday Morning..March 27th
Well Thursday was another hot and muggy day here in central Florida with tons of sunshine and no rain which is greatly needed. I'm watering at least twice a day the gardens and sometimes a little more when working late outside until dark. The payoff is tons of leafy greens, cucumbers starting to mature and now beans are blooming after a late plant, oh well there is the upside to this hot weather but the a/c hasn't stopped for weeks.
I started the day with a before 6 rollout to my usual morning routines that always start with a cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some moments with my Creator and Lord in humble thanksgiving and then lifting up several by name for comfort, healing and even a miracle if GOD is still in the business of granting them. Our nation needs a miracle for healing after being inculcated with this virus; I'm wondering if we should repent for our kicking Him out of the nation first and for the notion that everything that was once good is now bad and vice versa that is being shared through this liberal ideology that now has a foot hold among so many. Just maybe if we due that, HE will heal our land as He once promised in the Old Testament. We need a "Coming to Jesus" talk again for many who have gone the way of the liberals and their heresy.
I headed out to Bardmoor which is a country club that has 6 beautiful pickle ball courts. I met up with one of our Rec. players and we got in with another group of much younger players for two plus hours of some great play. I was the old man among them but held my own and even managed a few victories despite these guys taking this game to serious. Today was the last day for open doubles play which allowed the public in to play; after today it was club members only with single play. I lost 4 pounds of sweat on the court and was down to 179 which I haven't seen in many moons. That gave me room for fresh baked apple pie and ice cream later in the evening after supper, yeow was that ever delicious. Nancy can whip anything in that oven of hers at a moments notice.
Well we gave away two separates batches of lettuces and leafy greens as they are maturing rapidly in these summer like temps. We had our campus pastor and wife come by for a sack full and the couple we are going to Alaska with September came by for a sack full as well. We stayed well apart due to the separation which is supposed to keep us from sharing this virus but did enjoy some visitation. We surely miss our get togethers at church and life groups. We are hoping to get back to regular weekly meetings soon, but so far we are doing the online chats which is awesome due to this modern technology with the internet, LATER
This is the dill herb which is going to seed and I will dry them and use for replanting later at the cabin. I got the original seeds from a plant our mountain friends gave us from their garden/yard last summer. They have moved back to Florida permanently due to his health issues. We will miss them.

Thursday Morning March 26th
Well Wednesday was another semi summer day with temps close to 90 and the humidity is rearing its ugly head once again. The early morning until around 10 was perfect and 4 of us played pickle ball outside for an hour and a half on the outside court at the Rec. One of our group purchased a separate net so we could play on the court that had been lined for the game.
I started the day with the usual before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in humble thanksgiving and lifting up several by name for comfort and healing. All seem as well as can be expected and the one person who we personally know who was tested positive for the virus after a plane trip out west has recovered and has been under quarantine along with his family. Everyone else that we know are doing just fine despite the bias msm pushing this virus into panic mode to destroy our duly elected potus Trump, who by the way has done an amazing job considering the false news spewed by those who are filled with the TDS.
The congress lead by the speaker Pelosi and then again in the senate by Schumer have been nothing but an obstacle to helping the real needs of those infected by this virus. It's despicable that we have elected congress folks with their hypocritical and obstructionist plans to destroy Trump at the expense of those in need. I certainly hope they get their just reward in November and are sent packing forever from the gov't. They should go anyhow after robbing the nation and becoming multi millionaires while in the gov't for decades. Shame on them and those who elected them.
Well I came home and worked in both the gardens and yards. A pickle ball buddy came by and dropped off several large trash cans of dried up oak leaves for my garden which will help feed my worms while we are gone this summer and add compost to the gardens. Since we took out the huge oak tree in the front yard my oak leaf surplus has been cut by 3/4 of what I use to get each year for the worms. I harvested some lettuce for him and then later 3 egg plants for our supper and a green tomato. Nancy fried them up and we doctored them with fresh herbs; delicious to say the least.
I mowed both yards and then sprayed some weed killer along the boundaries of the fences and shrubs in the front yards. That kept me busy until lunch time. I took a couple hours during the heat of the day to read until 4'ish and then headed back outside to hand water the gardens until supper time. After eating those delicious veggies from the garden although fried, I headed back out as Nancy was on a simulcast with her women's group study until nearly dark around 8:30. I transplanted some St Augustine cutting I had growing in the garden. All had nice roots from cuttings I had made a couple weeks ago and transplanted in the bare spots in the back yard. I pulled weeds and then hand watered the front yard again as after mowing there were several brown areas. We need some rain.
Well I came in and watched a little of Fox Cable news before hitting the showers and then I watch the reality show about life in Alaska until a little after 10. The sandman was calling and I was soon out for the count. I did speak with our "mountain mom" Helen for a few after supper and she and her siblings are holding their own, LATER

Wednesday Morning..Mar 25th
Well Tuesday was another summer like day with heat into the upper 80's close to 90 and the humidity has returned with tons of sunshine; at least a nice gentle breeze kept it bearable after supper.
I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my routines that start with the proverbial cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord giving thanks and lifting up several by name. There has been no change to any of those that I know or any positive results for the virus which has caused so much concern for so many. The panic and fear spread by the MSM has exacerbated this event into destroying common sense precautions while it is their attempt to destroy our Potus Trump and destroy the nation. Never before in my lifetime have I ever seen such vile and evil persist among such a group of folks to regain power while destroying the leader that has made it his goal to save the nation from these corrupt politicians and those who are his front people in the media.
If there is a silver lining to this event it's just maybe folks will look to the heavens and call on GOD to forgive US(A) of our sins by repenting and ask Him to heal our land. GOD promised that in his scriptures which seem to be coming true. Everything that was once good has now become bad and vice versa that everything was bad has now become good. This could be the beginning of the end if we fail to heed the warnings and the prophecies set before us in the Bible. We as a nation must take a strong look at those who have been placed in the gov't to act on our behalf and what their agendas are for the rest of us. The USA has become socially a cesspool with the killing of the unborn as a platform to get elected, which I think began the start of our down fall morally. Our crooked leaders in the gov't who have taken from the folks to gain themselves is evident by the lack of outrage in the media and they have helped to mitigate this corruption. It's just down right disgusting and yet they are promoted as a candidate to lead this nation while attempting to destroy this one man and his agenda to save the nation.
Well I'm back from my stump but I do fear retribution is coming for those who hate this nation in some form. The lack of many items we take for granted are missing from our stores which is an example of what will become if these radicals elect a socialist to the gov't. Now much of what we have set aside for our retirement is gone due to this economical down fall promoted by the media and now we are being told to stay away from others which means many folks are now unemployed and those in the gov't want to add socialist items to a bill to aid those who are without jobs. Such evil people doing evil things.
My neighbor brought me over some kingfish and mackeral filets he caught locally, so I put them on the grill with some apple and hickory wood and smoked them for an hour or so and then made a delicious fish spread. That was our supper and it was superb for my first attempt at making the spread. Nancy was out shopping against my better judgement looking for of all things toilet paper. I have no idea why folks are hoarding this item. She did find some. I did go to the Rec. on the outside court for two hours around 8 AM and played pickle ball with 3 other fellows. I spent the rest of the morning working in the garden and yards. I did harvest my first cucumber and we had it for lunch on our salad. Delicious. I picked 5 more tomato's that are turning as well as lots of herbs for the fish spread and the egg plant is about ready to fry again.
Well that was about it for the day as I'm reading during the hot part of the afternoon sucking up the a/c as the temps get close to 90, yikes am I ever ready for the mountains come June, LATER

Tuesday Morning...Mar 24th
Well Monday was another hot and humid day here in Central Florida with tons of bright sunshine and very dry. We do need some rain despite me now watering twice a day the gardens and the back yards. I'm watering the front yard every couple of days as its turning brown in spots.
I started the day much the usual with a before 6 rollout to my usual routines that start with the cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric after washing down a handful of those awesome Nutrilite vitamins and supplements. I do believe they have made a substantial impact on my health and vitality now in my later years. I have the energy of a 20 year old, except by 10'ish, I'm ready for some horizontal lab. After my quiet time with my Creator giving thanks and lifting several up for comfort and healing I got ready and rode my bike out to the Rec. for close to two hours of pickle ball on the outside court where we keep a distance hoping to not spread any of this insidious virus. I left with a wet shirt and headed home to piddle around in the gardens until lunch time.
I now have a cucumber about ready to harvest and the vines are climbing up the chicken wire that I've hung on the back fence. The recently transplanted tomato plants have blooms so just maybe they will produce. They came up volunteer in the compose piles. The egg plants are maturing nicely and so is the pole beans now running up the chain link fence. I harvested more Bibb lettuces and blessed our across the street neighbors who in turn blessed me with a couple king fish filets he and his friends caught Sunday out in the Gulf. That season is in and I'm looking forward to smoking them today and making a fish spread.
I vacuumed the house and got the floors ready for a cleaning with a damp Swifter and cleaning solution for vinyl flooring. That kept me busy for a couple hours and then I settled into reading until it was time for supper, LATER

Monday Morning Mar 23rd
Well Sunday was a laid back day since there was no church services once again except to view our live service on line that was simulcast to the 3 other campus's from the Tyrone campus. We listen to the Cornerstone live broadcast in Sparta as well which happened for the first time.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish rollout to my usual routines; green tea, quiet time and then social media after checking the news which is rather much the same with this virus. I'm not sure if all of this info is helping or hurting the nation about this insidious disease as common sense has gone out the door with the golden rule. I've never seen so much division among the folks of this nation except we did do a conference call or face time with our BridgePoint leaders for about an hour around 5'ish. Our campus pastor Scotty wanted to know of any needs and or updates on how we who are in leadership positions/volunteers to inform him and how we personally were handling the events unfolding with the quarantine and shortages.
In all actuality we haven't found our selves to be in need as I've been giving away veggies and we have plenty to eat with enough TP at this time. We will miss going to Brandon this Tuesday as Bobby is working from home/office and will be there for Katie and the boys. We had a good fill of them on Thursday and Saturday so Katie wants to limit them to any outside exposure even though we have been with them from the start of this event. Amy goes back to work today at the school to help with the program she is involved with and now we learn school has been cancelled for some time; until April 15th if I heard right, oh well.
I'm still trying to get pickle ball players for outside play and keep up my physical exercise. I'm hoping to have at least 4 for this morning to start at 7:30 as it really starting to get hot by 9'ish. The one person we know who tested positive is doing fine and is self imposed quarantined himself and those in his family. He is the only case we personally know about and he was exposed during a flight he surmises as do we.
Well, keep the faith, use common sense and stay away from crowds and eat right is about all we can do. We are entertaining the Kool Peoples Club this evening which I'm somewhat anxious about. We do not gather with Tracy's as often as we use to so I'm somewhat apprehensive about who they have encountered since we last saw them before Christmas, LATER..... Here we are face timing with our Life Group

Sunday Morning..Mar 22nd
Well Saturday was a fun day after we got to Brandon around 12:30 in the afternoon. I piddled around in the yard and gardens before we headed out for a family get together at Bobby and Katie's that included swimming, Kubb and then a board game called Jaws. We did put the boys in the warm jacuzzi part of the pool and while at first they were not to happy but after a moment they settled down and loved it. It was close 9:30 before we got home.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my usual cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord in thanksgiving and lifting several up for healing, comfort and even miracles and especially prayers this insidious virus will be stopped and we as a nation can recover. If you believe in a conspiracy theory this was a China made disease and it spread world wide as their hopes are to take control of the world. There is some evidence they made this up and then denied its origin and attempted to obfuscate its very existence that started in their country with the help of a Harvard professor from America, yikes. We now know someone personally who is infected due to his trip on an airplane last week where he must have contracted the virus and has tested positive. He is under quarantine along with his family who were also on the plane.
The roads here at least are not nearly as congested as a couple weeks ago as we travel back and forth to Brandon to help with the "boys". They were in their glory yesterday as lots of folks held them whenever they fussed; Eliza is taken with both of them and held them several times smiling her gap tooth smile, she is such a cutie herself. Bobby grilled pork tenderloins on the egg as well as taters and we brought a huge fresh garden salad and a pot of collard greens and Amy guacamole fixin's and chips and some delicious cookies for dessert. Bobby had the heater going for the pool which had the water at a cool 80 degrees but once you got in it was perfect. That was my first swim in many moons and the small jacuzzi area was much warmer for the boys. They love their baths and this was much like one. Everyone was in the picture as Bobby and I held them in the water and the girls played with them.
Well I can not say much for the game Jaws which I found rather boring of course we had just eaten and I was feeling drowsy. The Kubb game which is played outside found Tyler and I whupping Bobby, Gabe and Sam two games in a row. We played a little wiffle ball batting practice and Gabe was slamming the small ball. It got too hot for them and then they complained about the bugs which were annoying so we headed back inside to the a/c. That was about it for the day as we all took turns holding, feeding and changing diapers for the boys which gave Katie a break to get laundry folded while Bobby, Amy and Nancy put the supper together. Everyone had a grand time despite this event happening in America, LATER

Saturday Morning Mar 21st
Well time just keeps moving along and the older I get the faster it moves, oh well at least a change in scenery is hopefully coming the first of June if all goes as planned and this virus doesn't do us all in. Friday was a busy day to start with and by late afternoon I was able to read for a couple hours. Evanovich is now a favorite author as I'm hooked on some of her characters in the Stephanie Plum beginning bounty hunter stories. She is a hoot as is her grandma. I catch myself laughing out loud to her and her comments as well as her actions.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet moments with my Creator and Lord in lifting several up by name for comfort and healing. Wow, the list gets longer on a daily basis especially now with this virus; but so far all seem to be holding. I got ready and headed out to the Rec. for 2 plus hours of pickle ball outside. It was a beautiful morning but by 10'ish the sun had warmed things up and we were burning up. I left with a wet shirt shirt and headed home. A couple more snowbirds from Canada left over night and another was leaving after play today. We will miss their good play on the court and I got one of them involved at BridgePoint while they were here.
Well every thing is just about closed around her and grocery stores have lines waiting to enter to hoard food. I think we are getting a real look at what would happen if a socialist like Bernie were to be elected and stuff was rationed, oh well, I hate that it took a fiasco like this to make folks wake up to what an idiot he and many like him believe in the congress. Now we need to clean house of all the career dem's and the rino repub's and elect folks who are willing to work for the folks of this nation. I learned the congress while attempting to impeach Trump let this virus thing get out of control when they could have stopped it from getting out of control and to those who where complicit with China from this nation in shielding US(A) from learning of this earlier should be hung.
It was rather boring around the house after yesterday's gathering with family and especially the boy's whom we watched for about 5 hours while their mom and dad got some much needed away time. We are heading over to Brandon again today to bring Annsley and Gabe back after an overnight stay with the Ross kiddos, then have another family get together at Bobby's house. It should be a fun day as we take the kiddos on a bike ride. Eliza is now riding a bike like a pro so she can now join all the big kiddo's for a ride through a park, then we will hit the pool for cooling off and having a pulled pork supper and then play that game all the kiddo's love as do I. Klubb I think its called. I'll have to get one for the mountains for when we have guest over.
Well I piddled around in the garden and harvested a nice mess of collards for the pot to take to Bobby's today as well as gave away another huge mess for Betsy and Gus who is still under the weather. I took several heads of Bibb lettuces and gave away to the neighbors as well as meeting a new neighbor who is in the Coast Guard that moved in a couple months ago. Well we ate leftovers for lunch with a big fresh garden salad and then a leftover brat for supper. I headed out to piddle in the front yard when a neighbor came by needing help with a small tree in her yard so I sawed that up for her and then I will work on putting her electric saw back together for her, oh well. A good deed for the day. It was 8:30 before I hung it up and hit the showers and the watched a little of the news. I'm throughly disappointed in some congress folks on the repub side of the isle who did some insider trading in the market from privileged info and cashed out. Not good and it just goes to show that gov't officials are less than honest. I hope they get voted out as well, LATER

Friday Morning Mar 20th
Well Thursday was a fun day first with pickle ball and then family the rest of the day and into the evening with a family super and then outside to play Kubb with the grand kiddos. What a great day despite everything being under the auspices of this insidious virus that is and has shaken the world.
I started the day much the usual with a 6'ish roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then lifted up several during my quiet with my Creator and Lord for comfort, healing and in some cases a miracle. Most that are on this list are holding for now but a couple have such health issues that if they are infected with this virus it could surely be the end. I did my social media feelings and checked the news before heading out to the Rec. to play outside with 5 others players for nearly 2 hours as I needed to be home by 10. Bobby and family were coming for the day and Nancy and I were watching the boys so they could take Annsley and Gabe to the beach with Ross kiddos.
I once again had a friend from church come by for leafy greens and then gave away another batch of collards and leafy greens to neighbor Bobby who will then make a dish of collards for the firemen as he goes on duty today(Fri.) The garden continues to grow with everything loving these cool nights and hot days except the Swiss chard which is just about gone. I think the nematodes have infected their roots. The recently transplanted volunteer tomato's look great and I placed some dried marigold heads in the hole with them as they are a natural deterrent to those pesky microscopic worms. I have some many volunteer tomato seedlings up in the compost pile that Tyler wants me to pack up six for him.
We had the boys all day and spoiled them rotten as we held them when they fussed. Bobby, Katie and the kiddos were at an old friends house(fireman) along with Amy and her crew since about 11'ish. They first all went to the beach except Katie who Bobby came and got around 12:30 or so. We fed the boys their bottles a couple times, played with them while they catnapped and then got ready for a supper of deer burgers, brats and dogs with tater tots and a fresh garden salad around 6'ish. I also pulled my first green pepper and along with some red and yellow peppers sauteed them on the grill to accompany the brats. Tyler can not eat garlic so I made deer burgers for him of which I had one over brats any day. They were delicious as was most every thing else.
Bobby, Tyler and the kiddos headed out to the back yard to play this game the Vikings of old used to play with real skulls and femur bones taken from their captives or that is the story that accompanies this game. Instead of the real stuff it is now blocks of wood and wooden spindles about a foot long which is thrown at the blocks of wood from a distance until all are knocked down until the King which is in the middle is the last to be knocked down. It's a hoot and unless you get lucky the spindles once hitting the ground flip in all kinds of direction. The grand kiddos loved the game all except Eliza who stayed and played with the boys. She is fascinated by them. It was a full day and nearly 9 when they all left for home.
I was ready for some down time and soon hit the showers after helping put the kitchen back in order. It was after 10 before I shut the lights off, LATER

Thursday Morning..Mar 19th
Well Wednesday was another busy day, hot summer like day that started with a well before 6 roll out. It seems I'm waking up a little after 5 and having trouble getting in that last hour of sleep before rolling out. I may have to go to bed an hour later instead of 10'ish, oh well. I did my usual routines; cup of hot green tea, quiet times, lifting several for healing before checking on the news and social media, all before heading out on my bike to the Rec. for some 2 1/2 hours of outside pickle ball play. I left with a whupped body and a wet shirt and head but it was such a beautiful morning until around 9:30 then you could start to feel the heat.
The library is closed due to this virus but they did have a side door open for those with holds and I picked up one on my way home. I can understand doing what is needed to contain the spreading of this disease but using common sense is also a factor in that area. DO NOT Kiss anyone or exchange contact with someone who is not a family member, oh well. The bias MSM has caused this fiasco and they should be held accountable for all this hoarding and panic behavior especially in the grocery stores. In reality this is what we would be facing if communist Bernie were to be elected as the Free Loaders of this next generation wanted. Just maybe this is a wake up call for many folks and now with the open border idiots who see just how devastating allowing aliens into the nation spreading diseases, yep just maybe now Americans see just what happens when you have radical leftest in the congress.
I piddled around in the yards and gardens until lunchtime. I had a pickle ball buddy come by for a sack full of leafy greens and he was thrilled. The Bibb lettuces are all coming to a head so I still have a dozen or more to give away. The other lettuces are not quite totally headed up but these hot days are causing them to mature. I pulled weeds and got an area ready for transplanting 8 volunteer tomato plants into the garden. I'm not sure if they will mature before we leave in June for the cabin. The cucumber and the pole beans are climbing and the egg plants are setting fruit once again. I harvested the last of the beets I started from seed in November and have enough for one more meal of sliced buttered beets. The new beet seedlings are now giving off leaves large enough for our salad bowl which we actually like better than the beet themselves. They are a super food and a must for good health.
On a sad note my fireman neighbor and his wife of just about 3 years are splitting. He came over last evening while I was working in the front yard weeding and watering to tell me why I hadn't seen her car there this past week. He was totally sad but OK with the situation and now his son who is a fireman is moving back home with him. She was always pleasant and cordial to me and the family, oh well. I watered the front yard until nearly 8:30 by hand then headed in to watch some You Tube documentary on the Nements, an Eskimo like tribe in Siberia who live with and for the reindeer herds. It's amazing they can survive with minus 60 below zero in skin tepee's and move their herds every 3-4 days to find new grazing under the snow for the deer. Wow such a busy life and they do everything themselves with the help of the reindeer.
Nancy took Ava Mae our oldest grand child shopping for her birthday after lunch so Sam and I held the fort down while the girls were at the mall. Both he and I are not fans of shopping so I read and he played on his device, LATER
Our mountain friend who breeds Gypsy Varner's had a foal born on a live video last night and already its up and about. Notice the bare trees in the background so winter is still in the mountains.
Wednesday Morning..Mar. 18th
Well Tuesday was a busy day that started with my usual before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some time with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting up several by name. The list gets larger each as we have a friend and church member in a body cast after being thrown from a horse, yikes with 3 cracked vertebra and she isn't a spring chicken. Hopefully she heals without any long lasting effects.
I headed out a little before 8 to the Rec. despite it being closed inside for pickle ball so 6 of us played outside. I managed to get in an hour and half before heading home to give the garden a small drink and then we headed out for Brandon to help with the boys while Katie got some rest and sleep. The boys are sleeping better during the night which in itself is a major blessing and now are napping a little better as well. They do love to eat about every 2 1/2 hours as we bottle feed them(pumped) breast milk during the day and a formula during the night which seems to last longer in their tummy's. They are just so cute and cuddly and are making great strides from the preemie status and their strength especially the littlest feller is amazing.
I headed out round noon to Culver's which is just a couple minutes from their house for a take out lunch and it was delicious especially the Walleye Pike. I did get in a little reading during the course of the day and Bobby made us a superb supper of fried egg plant and a chicken dish with pita bread. We headed out around 6:30 for Seminole and made a stop at Sam's for a few items and a gas up at 1.97 a gallon. The shelves in Sam's had been cleaned out of most items, unbelievable. No paper products at all and the selection on many meat items were limited. The MSM should be ashamed of this panic they have caused by the bias reporting of this epidemic which is nothing compared to the flu and prior events that took so many lives. They will stop at nothing to destroy the nation at the expense of destroying this potus Trump.
Well after a hot shower I was ready for some down time so I watched a little of the FOX CABLE news which seems to be about the only credible source of news and even after awhile that gets redundant, so I watched living off the grid in Alaska until 10'ish, LATER

Tuesday Morning... March 17th
Well Monday was another warm day that actually seemed almost like a summer day after lunch time. It was a busy first half of the day then I relaxed and read for a couple hours before grilling and then piddling around in the yards and garden after a nice breeze made it quite comfortable to be out side. The Ross Family(Amy) came by around 7'ish for a banana pudding delight and the the kiddos were wired so we played charades for an hour which was a hoot.
I started the day much the usual with a before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and spent some time with my Creator lifting up several by name. All seem as well as can be expected and the virus so far hasn't infected anyone that we personally know. Let's hope it stays that way. I headed out on my bile around 8'ish for the Rec. for close to 3 hours of pickle ball, all outside. We had a total of 6 players so it you got beat a set you sat out for a rest which was almost great to get once in awhile. I sat out one set all morning and left whupped with a wet shirt as I had good partners.
I made a quick stop at the library for another Evanovich book before heading home. I have 4 of her books on order all about the bounty hunter stories which are intriguing and funny as well. It's good easy reading for a change after the Imaginary Friend book which was a bust in my opinion after a good start, oh well. I worked in the gardens until lunch time, hand watering and pulling weeds as well as harvesting some beets for our supper, yeow are they ever delicious and so good for you. Along with them I cut up a whole chicken and grilled all the parts for our supper. When we first started out raising a family we would get whole chickens for 19 cents a pound and I saved money by cutting them up and this was one of our big suppers as well as leftovers for lunch weekly. I didn't check the price on this chicken but the last one we bought was around a buck a pound which is still a bargain at todays prices. Slow grilled it makes for a delicious meal.
We had a garden fresh salad for lunch and the lettuces are heading up beautifully so I'm giving away as much as I can before they bolt due to the heat. Everything else is doing just fine and the beans are sending out runners as well. Soon the leafy greens will die due to the heat but the peppers, egg plant and tomato's as well now I have several hills of potato's from the peelings that sprung up in the compost. I've transplanted several of those and hope to have new taters soon. The cucumbers are climbing and if every bloom sets a fruit I can open up a veggie stand.
Well, thats about it for Monday as we head over to Brandon today(Tue) to babysit the boys. It seems they are sleeping longer during the night which is helping with Bobby and Katie getting some much needed rest and sleep as well. We were scheduled to spend the nights there this week but Bobby's flights for his job were cancelled due to this virus so we will just spend most of the day loving up on these boys, LATER

Monday Morning Mar 16th
Well Sunday was a most unusual day as we did not meet with others to worship but did so at home via the internet at BridgePoint Church. We do that in the mountains a lot on Sundays as we get ready to head out to our worship service at Cornerstone, oh well. I sure missed seeing, hugging, handshaking, etc. to folks as they enter and then again as they leave. I know we aren't the only church that cancelled due to this virus but we must do what we can to NOT spread this insidious disease.
I started the day much the usual with a 6 ish rollout to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then did my quiet time giving thanks and lifting several up to my Creator for comfort and healing. I'm wondering if maybe we are in the period of judgement(tribulation) and the many prophecies in the Bible are coming true. So many things or events that was mentioned thousands of years ago are being seen in our world; sure makes you wonder if GOD is fed up with this creation and the folks within it. Our only hope is with Jesus Christ in the end and the Bible clearly makes that point.
I made a breakfast of leftovers then headed out to hand water the gardens until it was time for the on line service at BridgePoint that started at 9:30. Tim our lead pastor had some great thoughts on this situation we are now facing with so many events cancelled and the disruption of life as we know it and how we can use this to help folks draw closer to our Creator. The world is definitely having some issues of integrity and being right with GOD and mankind.
I piddled around outside in the gardens and yards after the service as it was a beautiful morning but by late afternoon it was once again hot in the upper 80's and humidity was showing up as well. I decided to finish the Evanovich book and did so during the hottest part of the day. We were scheduled to have supper with neighbors and close friends, the Botbyl's at 4 so Nancy made a guacamole and brought a fresh garden salad to add to the menu of sliders and potato salad. Delicious fare as always. Afterwards we watched this documentary video on "the coming convergence" which is the culmination of Biblical prophecies in the book of Revelation. Folks this should scare the dickens out of ALL of us as many of these prophecies have already appeared as well, and are coming to be as I make this post. Definitely makes you wonder how these writers of thousand years ago could make these predictions unless they were inspired by the Creator, oh well.
Since there were no sports on the TV, I piddled around on You Tube watching a couple videos made in the wild Alaskan frontier with man versus nature and living off the grid. It I were single and much younger I would love to have that adventure of living off the land. I've always been a fan of those pioneer's who headed west and were known as "mountain men", oh well such as it is. I do my adventures now vicariously through these self made videos, and gardening, LATER

Sunday Morning..March 15th
Well the big news; no church services today and no group meetings affiliated with the church for the next 2 weeks over this Corona scare.
Saturday started out being a rather mundane morning since there was no pickle ball. I rolled out about my usual time, before 6 which saw the outside totally black and the temps were rather warm in the upper 60's. It's looking more like early summer with the temps in the 80's and humidity is ever present; its not intolerable yet but getting close which makes me yearn for the cool mornings at the cabin, oh well. I did my routines that start with the hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and spent some time with my Creator giving thanks and lifting up several by name. All seem as well as can be expected. I'm worried a couple of these are advanced in age and Eddie is in a nursing home already in such poor health that if they get infected it could be there demise. I did speak with Paw Paw around lunch time and he actually sounded good but he has no short term memory left as I mentioned we were helping with the twins and he acted as if that was a new thing, the twins, oh well at 92 that comes with the territory.
Nancy made a nice mountain style breakfast which held me until supper time; fried eggs, sausage patties and pancakes with a ripe banana in the batter, yeow. I did the cleanup afterwards and headed out to piddle around in the garden. We had a close friend and church lady come by for some leafy greens and she was thrilled. We loaded her up with a sack full and then I gave the neighbor behind us a mess of collards later in the afternoon. I think I'll cooked up a mess for today's supper since we have the morning free after listening to the BridgePoint service on line. All of the campus's are cancelled but the service will be simulcast on line from the main campus in St.Pete/Tyrone area with no audience.
I pulled weeds from the yards and started a bunch of St.Augustine grass clippings in one section of the garden that is lying fallow. It's starting to get too hot to plant anything this time of the year. I did find a beautiful ripe tomato hiding among the tomato plants and did notice several more green ones. The plants are huge as it the egg plants but the production of fruit has been anything but great in relation to the size of the plants. The earthworms are multiplying and turning the garden into great plant foods. I sure miss the oak leaves from the front yard tree. I'll have to look for some of them bagged alongside the curb and turn them into mulch for the worms when we leave in June.
Well I'm about 3/4 through a new read by Janet Evanovich novel titled THREE PLUMS IN ONE and it is a hoot with close to 800 pages. The character is a small town bounty hunter and it goes into the family life of those who live in this burg outside Trenton, N.J. It's funny, shocking, serious and sad at times and down to earth about life in this era and area of the country. A real page turner and I find myself laughing out loud to the grandma's sayings and actions at times. Definitely a must read.
Well since there was no sports on TV I read for the biggest part of the afternoon and evening until bedtime. Nancy made us deer taco meat for supper which was "to die for" as aunt Betsy always proclaims. I had made a fresh garden salad and I put my meat on top of that and oh my what a delicious. dish with a jalapeno on top. Many thanks to mountain neighbor Gerald for the processed venison meat in pound packages he harvested off our property last year. DELICIOUS to say the least, LATER

Saturday Morning.... Mar 14th
Well Friday was another busy day that started with the usual before 6 roll out to my cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble and then lifted up several to my Creator and Lord for healing and comfort as well as giving thanks for my many blessings. I'm still able to play pickle ball 5 days a week for 2 to 3 hours at time and then garden until noon. Usually in the afternoon when the temps here in Florida at this time of year reach the upper 80's its time to chill with a good read until around 4'ish when its wine time and then I head back outside to hand water the gardens for the second time of the day.
I had a great workout at the Rec. despite it being closed to the public due to the Pow Wow which was quickly cancelled over night and all of the carnival rides were gone from the parking lots when I arrived at 8'ish. The cancellation was due to the hysteria of the Corona virus which is promoted by the fake msm to discredit our duly elected Potus Trump. Such diabolical means of the dems and those who hate this nation to destroy billions of dollars of wealth while at the same time lie and cause havoc with all gatherings; even gatherings of those who worship. I will say Trump has a handle on the issues and is keeping America informed and making the fake msm look just what they are; a cause for sedition. I sure hope patriotic Americans see just what they have and are doing to destroy this nation in hopes it will get their candidate elected who by the way is suffering the first stages of Alzheimer's in my opinion.
The garden is producing so much so quickly and now that all gatherings are cancelled I'm giving away leafy greens. Toni and Mark our friends from Michigan for years stopped by yesterday and I loaded them up with a couple sacks of greens and then I picked a huge mess of collard's for the fire department and gave to Bobby, our next door fireman for their meals this weekend. The lettuces are starting to head up and I did get another beautiful ripe tomato yesterday that was so delicious and tasted like the old fashion 'maters of yesteryears. We salivated over each slice at lunchtime. The cucumbers plants are loaded with blooms and setting nubbins as it the pole beans are finally sending out runners to climb the chain link fences. The sugar peas need picking as well and multiplying vigorously.
We decided to get together with neighbor and friends the Botbyl's for supper but instead of going out we ordered take out from Olive Garden. We learned that portion of their business was booming over the scare of gathering and rightfully so. The food was hot, plentiful and delicious and afterwards we got into a hotly contested game of Spades with the boys winning again despite a couple setbacks and going Nil a couple times. We visited until 9:30 and then I headed for the showers and read until after 10'ish. Since all of the sports have been cancelled for who knows how long I can at least be entertained with a good book, LATER

Friday Morning March 13th
Well Thursday turned out to be another busy day that started with my 6'ish roll out to my usual morning routines. My cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I posted this ramble then spent some quiet time with my Creator and Lord while I gave thanks for my blessings and lifted up some who were less fortunate and need some comfort and healings. So far all seem as well as can be expected. It seems we now have a crisis on our hands with this virus with many becoming infected so back on our knees we need to go. My generation and upwards in age with health issues seem to be the most exposed for long term and even death from this insidious disease.
I headed out a little after 8 to the Rec. despite it being closed to the outside court for 2 plus hours of pickle ball with 3 other players. It was just a gorgeous morning with warm temps and bright sunshine. It didn't hot until after lunch and even then the humidity stayed away. I came back and hand watered the gardens and picked enough collards greens for three families and stored them in the fridge until I headed out for my dental cleaning at 12:30. Our old neighbor Laurie did the cleaning and I knew she and her family loved collards so I surprised her with a nice mess. She was thrilled and we caught up on all thats going on with her, Jim and daughter Kayla who is now and LEO with the sheriff's dept. Jim is a fireman and they were great next door neighbors for years before selling out to Bobby another fireman.
I made an Aldi's stop which is adjacent to the dental clinic and picked up some goodies before heading home for a lite lunch. I read for the next hour before heading out to my financial advisor to do some paper work, so I blessed his office staff with a sack of collard greens as well. They were thrilled and amazed at the size of the leaves. They are from Indiana and knew all about cooking collards but had never used chicken broth to cook them in; so I enlightened them with my recipe and they were thrilled to try this new way. The broth makes all the difference in flavor and taste for this super food which grows so well in my back yard garden.
We had sauteed fresh beet greens which we both love as much as collards and so much quicker and easier to cook. You use only a little water and heat them in a skillet until they become like spinach whereas you must cook the collards for a couple hours; both are so good for you and are considered super foods along with kale and Swiss chard. I did notice some small cukes setting on the vines so hopefully these will make. I have them in an area thats get morning and afternoon sun so maybe that was the reason the last vines died. I have pole beans sending out runners so maybe we will get a harvest and the potato plants which came up from peelings are doing great as well.
The lettuces are heading up and I was hoping they would mature in time for our life groups progressive dinner next week and they have, but now with this virus causing the cancellations of church meetings for the next two weeks as well as small groups with folks over 65 and I'm in that age bracket we have postponed until April, oh well. We were scheduled to have the salad part of the dinner here at our house. I'm hoping the heat and humidity holds off until then which usually destroys lettuces and the leafy greens in the high heat. Such is life but now I have tons of salad stuff to give away to neighbors.
Well that was about it for the day. We got word we will not be spending two nights next week with Katie and the boys as Bobby's flights have been cancelled due to the virus; so we will see what happens with this fiasco and how it effects all of US(A). The dems are making it a political issue blaming Trump but in all actuality his decisions to stop travel from the infected countries right away is a blessing and especially on the border with the wall. I certainly hope the bias congress in the house does the right thing for the nation and puts aside their partisan actions in their attempt to destroy this potus. On a lighter note I'm now reading a really good and funny author, Janet Evanovich. She is a hoot and brings to life a bounty hunter by the name of Stephanie Plum attempts to capture FTA's(failure to appear) in an around Trenton, N.J. Fun reading and a page turner with her antics which seem very real life like, LATER

Thursday Morning Mar 12th
Well Wednesday for me was a stay home kind of day except for the bike ride to the rec. where two of us played 5 sets of singles on the pickle ball court. I got this feller by a year in age and whupped him 5 straight sets by big scores. We couldn't get anyone or it was his job to line up players for doubles play and he failed to do so, oh well. I got in a couple hours of exercises and sweated a pound off in the process. The rest of the day was gardening, yard work and reading.
I started the day with a later than usual roll out because we were scheduled for an 8:30 play so I slept in or laid there and extra half hour. My body tells me when I roll out a little before 6 that its time to just make it to bathroom and send the former potus a message on the commode. I love being regular but sometimes its takes over from sleeping in, oh well. I did my morning routines and then spend some quiet time with my Creator lifting up several by name. All seem as well as can be expected.
I checked the news and it seems the big story is now the market becoming a "bear" one again as a result of the msm pounding this virus and causing panic and the fake media is blaming our duly elected potus. They will never stop from attempting to destroy this man who has changed America for the better in just 3 years while giving praises to career politicians who now are moving the nation towards socialism and condemning capitalism which has made this nation the greatest on earth. I'm at a loss of who runs these medias and who are determined to oust this potus and his policies. Why would any patriotic American attempt to destroy the hand that feeds you and has been doing more for the country than all of these corrupt career folks in the congress especially the dems.
Well I piddled around in the gardens after pickle ball harvesting a couple egg plants and some herbs for our lunch which was fried egg plant and guacamole, yeow was that ever tasty and I added a chopped jalalpeno pepper to mine as well. We decide that would be our big meal of the day as Nancy had her evening Women's study class at Keswick at 6:30. I did finish up the leftover cole slaw and macaroni salad around 6'ish. I decided the front yard needed to be watered and set the sprinkler in between watching the Fox Cable news. I listened to the Potus giving the nation and update on what he thought was best for the country regarding this insidious virus that started in China and was held in secret for months.
I finished the book I started several days ago and to be truthful it got even weirder towards the end. I skipped a lot as the message and the typing was very distracting to say the least. It started out as a page turner but became so boring and the typing with capital letters in words was just to awful to understand the message, anyhow I do not recommend the book, LATER

Wednesday morning ..Mar.11th
Well Tuesday was a non- stop day from the start of the day which was before a 6ish roll out until I hit the sack around 10. It was an hour and half of pickle ball outside at the Rec.(the gym was closed) with 5 others and then we left the house at 10 and headed to Brandon until we left there around 8:30 in the evening.
I started the day with my usual routines that start with the cup of hot green tea laced with turmeric while I post this ramble then spend some time with my Creator in thanksgiving and lifting several up by name for comfort and healing. All seem as well as can be expected considering their health issues. This virus which is being made a political issue to once again destroy our duly elected potus Trump by the dem's and the msm is not nearly as dangerous as the flu which has killed thousands. Those with health issues already are the most susceptible to this insidious disease which started in China and has now infiltrated the USA. Common sense must prevail like any other issue but the bias media is causing fear once gain.
I headed out on my bike a little before 8 and met up at the outside court with 5 other players. We brought our own net to use despite the facility closed down. It was great play and I left around 9: 20 for the house with a wet shirt shirt and a wet head. I hand watered the gardens for a few minutes, then harvested collard greens and kale to take with us for Katie's folks. We got to Brando around 11 despite the interstate congestions in a couple of places.
Well we feed and changed diapers for the next 6 hours while Katie slept and got some rest. The boys especially Ryder was much more awake and barely napped for more than 15 minutes during the day. He loves his tummy time and he is picking up his head constantly. In a week or so both will be able to hold their heads erect. They are both growing and adding weight and much more bright eyed. Bobby got home around 4'ish and prepared a delicious supper of grilled chicken wings, broccoli and Jasmine rice. He left soon after eating to pick up Gabe at Jill's and head to the ball field. I cleaned up after supper as Katie and Nancy got the boys ready for a trip to the ball field as well.
It was a beautiful evening and lots of daylight for most of the game which ended at 8:30. Gabe's team won big 15-6. The boys did fine at the park as Katie's family was there and helped with holding and once again feeding them. The boys should have slept good over night especially Ryder as he did not sleep much during the day. The interstate on the way home was being shut down just moments after as we passed through due to some construction. The sign boards and construction crews were detouring traffic through down town Tampa; what a nightmare that would have been, but we made it through with just minutes to spare. We got back to the house around 9:30 and I hit the showers and then watched the Lightning lose in a close game to the Maple Leafs. They will make the playoff's without their captain and star player but it will be difficult, LATER
The boys going to the game and laying on the floor together. Both are doing much better on their reflux issues with not nearly as much spit ups by Huck, the little feller.

Tuesday Morning... March 10th
Well Monday was a bit nippy to start but soon warmed up to the low 70's with a nice breeze that came around mid morning. I headed to the Rec. around 8 despite it being closed for the whole week due to Pow Wow which is a carnival type atmosphere for the 3 day weekend but why they close the whole gym for a week is beyond me; but we pickle ball players have a net so we had the outside court for ourselves for most of the morning until we wore our selves out. We played 7 sets of regular scoring with some 20 ball rallies throughout the morning. I got back to the house around 11 and piddled around in the gardens.
The morning started with me sleeping a little after 6 as the time change had my body function screwed up but it seemed back to normal this morning (TUE), oh well. I did my quiet times after posting this ramble lifting up several. All seem well. The garden is producing once again and I'm cutting heads of lettuces, picking both kinds of kales and the cucumbers are setting fruit with tons of blooms. I have so many veggies and I'm begging folks to use them as well. The couple cool days really helped with lettuces and the collards are out of sight with their growing. I'm taking a batch to Brandon today for Katie's family when we head over after pickle ball to help with the boys during the day so Katie can rest.
Well after lunch I decided to work on my taxes and got bogged down with a couple questions. I'll see my financial advisor on Thursday and take his office a batch of collards as well. I'm hand watering twice a day with the wind drying out the garden so around 5ish I headed out to give it a watering while I grilled bone in pork chops. I loaded up my neighbor with radishes, sugar peas, kales, collards and some lettuces. She was pleased with the bounty. She just took an extra job of waitressing at the Cracker Barrel in addition to her own cleaning business. She wants to get away from cleaning but is finding the waitressing job harder than she expected; I think she is going through menopause and is having all kinds of issues, oh well. She is a great neighbor.
Well after the cleanup from supper I watched a little of the old socialist from Vermont on Fox Cable town hall with him and he has the young folks and muslims eating out of his hand. There were several in the audience who applauded his income redistribution schemes to tax the successful out of business to give them free everything and how he used some small countries with 8 million residents like Finland to push his socialism. He is such a hypocrite and has never worked a real job in his life except feed off the public dole while denigrating our potus who has turned the nation around and giving some self esteem for those who want to better their lives with working a job. If America elects him we are doomed but there is so much corruption among the dems he will be once again be thrown to the dogs by the democrat elites for "sleepy Joe" who I truly believe is suffering from dementia and whose family is obviously corrupt.
I soon hit the showers and started reading the book IMAGINARY FRIEND again. I'm about 2/3 through the 700 plus pages and it different to say the least. Bobby said it was an allegory and at times I'm seeing some resemblance to Christ in a very unorthodox story, oh well. It's a page turner to be sure between the real and unreal world. I read until 10'ish then it was horizontal lab time for me, LATER

Monday Morning March 9th
Well Sunday was a busy fun family day after the early morning load in for BridgePoint at the college. We were scheduled to meet up with Bobby and family at the gymnastic complex in St.Pete to watch Annsley complete and did she ever do a great job with her best scores in the four events. She took first place in her age and level of experience. Great job. They all came back to our house for lunch and to change and feed the boys unto around 3'ish them we all headed over to Amy's so the kiddos could play and then have supper together.
Tyler had a couple whole chickens on the smoker and while they cooked we played a new game outside in the yard with is a derivative of a Viking game from centuries ago. It's called Skulls and Femurs and you must capture the king at the end to win. Everyone especially the kiddos loved the game and it required throwing a stick(femur) at blocks (skulls). It's an outside game.
Eliza Faye was infatuated by Ryder as we let her sit on the couch and hold him several times. Both boys did well at each house and Huck slept a lot but Ryder was awake for most of the time there. We celebrated Nancy and Sam birthday's family style with a delicious supper and cake and ice cream as well. We all left about the same time around 7'ish as it was a school night for all the big kiddos.
We came home and I hit the showers and read until close to 10 but I was whupped after getting up at 4'ish the old time, LATER
